Hispanics voted for extreme leftist Jerry Brown, 2 to 1.
Maybe the GOP should try to find a Hispanic conservative instead of RINO’s like Fiorina and Whitman.
Bull. We need to focus on those hispanics who are concerned about the same things the rest of us are concerned about.
And that means pandering to no one but THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
No racial politics. that way leads to political ruin.
Thanks for the tables & links! Excellent!
Fiorina is NOT a RINO. She is pro-life, smaller govt, lower taxes, less regulation. She is NOT a RINO.
yes, she is a RINO.

And everyone remembers her as the person who ran HP to the ground. That by itself should’ve knocked her out of the running.
Actually, it was Mark Hurd, the CEO of HP who made HP into the most hated tech company since Dell. But I get your point..
Bush and Rove “focused like a laser beam” on the Hispanic vote by alienating their base with the push for amnesty. The result was catastrophic losses in 2006 and 2008.
National Review had an article on her extolling how conservative she is.
Now, I don't have time to educate you, so do your research. Carly is articulate, bright, personable and conservative (quote from National Review).
I think it is more important than ever to be informed.
Layoffs don’t discriminate.
I don’t understand.
It was independents and moderates who voted for the rats that caused those results. Check the articles you get that I posted using the keywords 2006exitpoll and 2008exitpoll.
2008 election, best since 2004? :’) Thanks SeekAndFind.
Good post! This identity politics is getting old. I cannot understand how people let con artists pander to them as if they were teenage girls being asked on a date.
This might just a ploy to get more RINOs on board with the Dream Act. It’s all in the timing.
mandaladon:
Exit polls reported by CNN and updated this week reveal that a historically robust 38 percent of Hispanic voters cast ballots for House Republican candidates in 2010 more than in 2006 (30 percent) and 2008 (29 percent).”

We’re doing better now and we are NOT hispandering the way McStain did. Interesting, isn’t it?
What does this mean? What is the Hispanic bloc? How do you 'appeal' to the Hispanic bloc? Is the writer indicating that Hispanics are different? I thought we were all the same?
New record for % of White voters going Republican for House? Looks like it.
This article implies that the increasing ‘white haul’ for the GOP isn’t due to the relative lack of racial pandering the GOP does when compared to the democrats, and what might happen to the ‘white haul’ if the GOP follows the writer’s suggestion and begins to pander like the democrats.
amen to that.
