Julian Assange: Next Wikileaks Dump Could Bring Down One Or Two Big Banks
Business Insider ^ | 11/30/2010 | Katya Wachtel

In his interview with Forbes, Julian Assange confirmed that the next Wikileaks dump is going to target big business.

Obviously, we can barely contain ourselves.

We don't know much, but we do know its a U.S bank, and we do know Assange thinks what he has could destroy at least two major financial insitutions.

From Forbes:

F: Is it a U.S. bank?

JA: Yes, it’s a U.S. bank.

F: One that still exists?

JA: Yes, a big U.S. bank.

F: The biggest U.S. bank?

JA: No comment.

F: So do you have very high impact corporate stuff to release then?

JA: I mean, it could take down a bank or two.

I remember when US Intelligence would’ve taken care of this kind of creep before you ever heard of him. Did those guys all retire or something?

Which Bank would Soros want to bring down?

That’s where I’d place my bet

It was not surprising to learn on Glenn Beck that this guy has ties to Soros and OSI

Our law enforcement officers are too busy using up resoources trying to intimidate and catch illegal music downloaders on the internet to bother with someone like him....

Talk about priorities ...

I hope he can deliver those results (ie, causing a bank to fail). The faster we can expose the truth on bank balance sheets, the faster the real economy will recover.

Not sure AssMange is quite as dangerous as he fancies himself to be.

The diplomatic leaks are primarily a huge embarrassment to Obama, Hillary and their minions. But they really don’t include much that we don’t already know, or at least suspect.

His antics ARE sensational, though. NYT loves the circulation increase!

When are people going to go to jail for some of this monkey business? The US taxpayer had to bail out half of Wall St., and no one went to prison. The peon who steals a case of beer gets arrested, but these gold-plated crooks skate because they have friends in high places. The USA needs a thorough enema.

The destruction of the international financial system and the money center banks would hurt, but not as much as saving them is hurting.

Let 'em go.

Mt current position is that China is at war with us, but waging a war which is vastly different from any previous war.

Missiles off our coast? North Korea shelling an island off South Korea? How are we supposed to react to that? The message is: This could get hot -- do you want that?? Or do you want to just take the hits and keep it cool?

We have a network of allies all over the world? We can create coalitions when the need arises? Well ... maybe no one trusts us now. They don't want to talk to us.

Our dollar is devalued, the euro is in trouble, our economy is sputtering, we are tired of bailouts .... and Wikileaks is about to torpedo 1 or 2 major banks?

I say China is basically behind all of this.

I hope you’re right about BoA.
Hope they’re joined by JP Morgan/Chase. Yeah, with all THEIR connections to the top, that’d happen — NOT!

Odd isn’t it how the liberal media pretty much supported the last leaks but this time they are all howling? Remember who the big contributors to obama were? Goldman Sachs has had him on his payroll since he was a junior senator, his favorite banker (per the NY Times) and big contributor Jamie Dimon, Warren Buffet (a bailout welfare queen himself who recently thanked his favorite uncle Sam for saving his billions), Citi fraud who went all out on his inaugeration, etc.

I like this take on it from the ticker guy...

If you were wondering why there’s a sudden desire to shut these guys down, after they “leaked” all sorts of information about the Iraq and Afghanistan war - including classified material, which drew nothing other than “outrage” - well, now you know.

They’re after some banks.

It’s one thing if you’re dealing with the corrupt, incompetent liberal butt pickers in the US government.

It’s quite another thing if you’re dealing with private business.

Better be looking over your shoulder Assange.
