It’s obvious that there isn’t much intellectual stimulation to be gained on FR. It’s become famous for that.
But people overlook the entertainment angle. Some of these people are very funny.

And, yes, my spelling is awful. For most of this afternoon, was responding to three different threads simultaneously—and was expected to sound reasonable on two of them.
FR is not one of them. The intellectual level has dropped so far here (present company excluded) that it seems one can type any kind of insult and have a dozen others pat one on the back as if it were clever.
It’s fun, though. I’ve got to start previewing my posts, though.

It takes a while for a certain type to be attracted to a thread and bring it down several levels intellectually. This thread started out pretty well.

I joined an exodus of old-timers from FR a few months back back because it was being taken over by individuals who were, shall we say, intellectually inferior. I came back briefly to see if all the jokes over the internet about FR were wrong.

Thanks for this background info. This guy was seriously getting on my nerves. I took a break. This doesn’t usually happen. Life’s too short, etc...
