Our state also gave you Michele Bachmann, Jon Kline, Mark Kennedy, have just given you Chip Cravaack, and not a single Democrat governor in over 25 years (pending the outcome of the Dayton/Emmer recount). Our politics are deep purple here.

Yes, we occasionally elect moonbats (and sometimes Communists like Ritchie help appoint them) but we just flipped both houses of our state Legislature last November too. Educate yourself. We're far from a 'Soviet satellite state'.

Tire or not my friend, I do read there are sections of your state that are more communist than Russia. You will not find that here, even in Birmingham. While we have our devoted dimocrats, most are in the big cities, I dare say most are much more for the flag than against. AND, you DID elect Jessie and the idiot in the baby dipper. So, you have that legacy whether you tire of it or not. I have two republican US Senators. My congressman is republican. Our state congressional group is now strongly republican. I have a republican governor, Lt. gov, Sec of State, Attorney General, and a republican dominated state house for the first time in 136 years! So, at least we tend to lean conservative. Oh, right, we were determined too be the MOST conservative state in these United States. That the state of Alabama.
