Former Bay State Gov. Mitt Romney is looking to recapture the limelight from pop culture and new media megastar Sarah Palin when he sits down with Tonight Show retread Jay Leno tomorrow night in a move some GOP observers dismiss as straight out of TVs dark ages.
On the hipness scale, this is far from Bristol Palin on Dancing with the Stars. Its more like Richard Nixon on Laugh In, scoffed Democratic consultant Scott Ferson.

Good luck with that Mitt.
Great article. Funny.
Mittens has got to be on LSD. Who the hell is going to vote for the father of RomneyCare, which was the predecessor of ObamaCare?
Is there some type of tax advantage that pissing your money away in a presidential campaign has over say, buying copious amounts of heroin, coke and crack?
What a putz...
Romney reminds me of George Hamilton - the actor
...without the substance.
Does he need to do a reality show? I dont think so, said Cellucci, a longtime Romney supporter. The times are going to make Romney look really good. Were in a time when jobs arent being created that plays right to his strengths.

Not much I can add to that.
Is Romney Planning to Bypass Iowa?
“Romneys decision to drain funds from his Iowa PAC sends a signal that he could very well bypass the Iowa caucuses in 2012 ... If Romney was planning on another Iowa caucus campaign, keeping funds in his state PAC would have allowed him to set up an early Iowa organization like he did in 2006.
Adding to the speculation that Romney might opt to skip the Iowa caucuses in 2012 are recent comments from one of his former advisors, David Kochel, an Iowa native.”

Interview with Jay Leno? On the Tonight Show? Whoo-woo, top flight! That’ll do it!
Planet Mitt getting drowned out by the light of Supernova Sarah
If we don’t somehow figure out a way to close the New Hampshire primary to Republicans ONLY, we could well wind up with Mittens as our nominee.
The times are going to make Romney look really good. Were in a time when jobs arent being created that plays right to his strengths.Job creation is a Romney strength?
Sorry, I missed his plan(s)/theories for jobs creation...In fact, Ive never heard him say anything uplifting or of substance...seriously.
“He did a little too much LDS in the 1960’s”

Who? Why Democrats, in the OPEN New Hampshire primary, of course.
There has got to be some way of changing the rules on that before 2012. If not, we get whoever the Democrats pick for us.
Actually Hamilton is a pretty funny guy. Romnney has the common touch of George V.
Can't make this stuff up....
Actually Hamilton is hilarious. I heard him tell a story about driving a strange woman from NY to CA...or at least part way...because a producer told him this woman - supposedly a relative of the producer - needed the ride. Turned out it was all a joke. I can see why he’d be a great dinner guest.
Palin is the trend setter- a true leader.
Romney is going to have to sing her tune.
