I received the most heartfelt letter yesterday in my PM. As it serves to discuss the greater issue I am reprinting it here along with my response.
Dear Coffee Man,
I have been following your writings here on Election Ink as well as on the Huffington Post and feel you might be someone who will take the time to help me with a moral question.
My eight year old daughter recently came home from school with the most disturbing story. Imagine my surprise when she began telling me after seeing a picture of our president on the kitchen television, about how he is over-his-head and not up to the job.
I was shocked. When I asked her how she heard such things she explained how her teacher in school was talking about it with another teacher in the hallway.
Naturally, at her age she isnt able to grasp the meaning and is simply repeating, but I ask you. What is the right thing to do here.
We cant have our teachers filling our childrens heads with such things. I honestly dont know what to do.

You were correct that this is a situation that must be dealt with immediately. President Obama is too important to the country, the world, and your child to allow someone like this who is trusted with your child each day to frankly lie in front of them.
The question here is do we as Americans have a duty to report anti-Obama statements. The answer is yes. You have no choice and this applies to statement made by co-workers as well.
You should report this incident to the local press, the school board, and most importantly, the local teacher union. They know what to do with people like this. Trust me.
Contact your local Coffee Party and arrange for a protest in front of the teachers home as well. Only by paying a price for standing against President Obama will others learn. You cant go too far. As a result of your efforts, other teachers will learn the lesson.
Immediately, place your daughter into counseling. Your complaints to the school will force them to pay for the treatments for as long as they take. Your daughter has been injured. I am personally so very very sorry.
It seems as though the kid is smarter than the parent in this incident.
Oh, did I forget a one termer who will be voted out by a landslide - even if we run Yogi the Bear - if he’s not impeached first?
PS Hi! Secret Service and DHS guys. No violence advocated here. The LAST thing I want is for the obamanation to become a martyr. Shudder!
What do you have against Wookies?! Geez, man!
Actually, I'm filing it under: "You can make this stuff up!" (well, not you, apparently)
“ping John Semmens”
Done.
Thanks.. I’m still new(er) to the <stuff
would like to see his opinion on this.
would be interesting

Yeah it’s satire. See http://electionink.com/entry.php/118-Descent-into-Hell-A-Tea-Party... esp the pic at the end.
I thought someone DID make it up!
“Calling all Brown shirts.”
Does that include whips and cigarette burns?
It looks to me that their forums are for real but their blogs are satiric.
That is just so unfair...I love Chewbacca!
obama voters, supporters, desciples, and worshipers are many things.
One thing that the sorry bastards are not and that is Americans.
They may have been born here, they may be citizens of the United States, but they are not Americans.
Every Colonial Patroit that fought Englnd for in order that we may live s free men and women is turning in their graves because of what these sorry sobs inflicted on the Nation November 4, 2008.
It is satire if he gets called on the carpet for it. If he don’t get called for it, he is serious.
The Coffee Party? More like The Kool-Aid Kids.
I can’t tell whether this is satire or not. It looks like Missy Morford or something from DU.
Weird and funny....I think.
