“After the Obamas are gone I will never be able to use the word “community” again.”

The libs find words to give people warm fuzzies, but they’re scary. Like Hillary’s “village”. Notice how they NEVER focus on independence, personal responsibility, etc... One big socialistic community/village.

Good point,

All the words and concepts they use are collective and devoid of moral imperitives or self determnism.

Scary what the language they use says about them.

The word “liberal” if it meant what it did four generations ago, I would be able to easily agree or sign on. However, even the word “liberal” is a perversion of what it once meant. The meaning of this word today has a secular, hedonistic and socialist meaning, when in reality it once meant what today is close to the libertarian message. The left grabs a hold of ideas or a message and then twists them, exploits them and pushes these to the point of absurdity, making these words cause a gag reflex in most people after they are finished. Words like: liberal, village, community, progressive, paradigm......all belong to the list of words they have used and turned into some disgusting expression that leaves a sour taste in ones mouth if one accidentally uses them. Think about the concept of a phrase like “open minded.” Can you really use that without thinking that the only time it’s used is to tell someone to accept something at face value and discard all logic and reason or practical application? What about the use of the phrase “close minded?” What does it really mean? It means that those with an opposing view point not accepted at that point in time need to shut up. It’s a veiled threat in a social context that states that opposing viewpoints are not accepted. Both of these terms have become oxymoron’s and it’s their perversion within the vernacular of the liberal which has caused this. The one talking about the close minded is the close minded, and the one asking for people to one or free their mind is asking people to not think and accept gibberish based on ideology.

I really believe that one could write a fairly lengthy paper on the abuse of the English language in this respect.
