Is he a terrorist or just a sick man?
That is the question police and federal authorities are still asking after the arrest last week of George Djura Jakubec, whose rented house in Escondido, Calif., contained what local authorities called the largest quantity of homemade explosives found in one location in the history of the United States.
Police entered the house after the arrest but later pulled back, citing the disarray and the amount of explosives, chemicals and other dangerous material scattered about the home. They returned again Thursday and, once again, decided the house was too dangerous to search.

>>Is Hexamine a realistic explosive ingredient?<<
Yes, for flash bombs.
Probably a bitter clinger. Nothing to see here. Move along.
Given his situation and his background I am sure that he is.
Now why do you suppose that is?
Perhaps he has that bearded Muslim look that would be prejudicial to juries and possibly incite anti-Muslim sentiment among the great unwashed masses that are the freedom loving middle class patriots of this country.
Or they think that they might be able to recruit him to be a double agent against the terrorist that he has been selling bombs to in which case having his face plastered all over the press would make him useless.
Just a nut!
Nah!!
Patriot Militia member.
Everybody knows that they are the only people that make their own explosives in their house.
The article mentioned that he had chemicals in his house so I reason that at least in part that he was making his own explosives.
the article also says that he admitted to having a grenade so he also had access to persons selling illegal munitions.
The article mentioned that his wife was Russian, so perhaps there actually were Russian gang connections (whether she knew about them or not).
It doesn’t sound as if this guy was a Muslim, but of course the press would never mention even it if he was screaming allah akhbar at the time of arrest.
If he were a Christian, that would be plastered in front of his name in every single news article written about him, at least 5 times per article.
