Not to worry, the losses in almost every area that China would suffer far outweigh any potential gain. They can't afford to back a rogue communist regime against the west. They would lose every economic inroad of the past twenty years.

I will be in Korea in three weeks. I check USFK's site daily. They have posted nothing to make me think I should change my plans.

I am and have been far more concerned about Latin America.

I agree. The close proximity, shifting political landscape and icreasing lawlessness make Latin America a huge source of concern. One that is, and has been, underplayed.
