Thousands of Ranches Abandoned in Northern Mexico Due to Violence

MEXICO CITY – Thousands of ranches have been abandoned in the northeastern Mexican state of Tamaulipas by owners who do not want to end up like Alejo Garza, a rancher who died defending his property from a drug cartel.

Garza, considered by a hero by many in the region, refused to hand over his property to a drug cartel, which gave him 24 hours to leave his property.

The 77-year-old rancher barricaded himself inside his house and took on 30 cartel gunmen, killing four of them and seriously wounding two others before being slain.

The drug cartels, which have been engaged in a turf war since the beginning of this year, take over ranches and use them as bases, a Tamaulipas Attorney General’s Office source told Efe on condition of anonymity.

the people also continue to keep the same people in office like John McCain who was all about amnesty! Where are the political leaders who give a damn? Bush had 8 years and did nothing, at least enough to make a difference. Of course Obama is all about doing nothing because he wants the votes, the whole political system in this country is soooo corrupt. The all disgust me.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. The last time this happened, Mangas Coloradus was leading the Apaches south, and the Comanches and Kiowa were depopulating several Mexican states. A good read on that is “War of a Thousand Deserts”.

“This regime is a disgrace.”

They’re way too busy playing basketball and doing ‘shoutouts’ to worry about little things like North Korea, drug cartels, unemployment or terrorists.

Looked at a review of that book and there was an interesting note. It said that the factionalism created by the abandonment of the Indians of their towns made it easier for the US armed forces to invade.

So if history is truly repeating itself, then the next step is an invasion into these territories by the US armed forces...

Mexico is reverting back to paganism, to pre-Colombian times when the bloody drenched Aztecs, the blood drenched Mayans and thousands of other blood drenched pagan tribes fought with each other and human sacrifice was the law of the land. My obvious solution is to build an impenetrable fence, to militarize the border and have as little to do with that godforsaken place

I curse the traitors that got us into NAFTA. That’s when illegal immigration really took off

I’ll wait for the carbine version to come out.

Serious muzzle flash issues.

And you lose enough muzzle velocity to make penetrating an Abrams questionable.

That's true, I would want to loose my armor penetration ability. They make that moose in 20mm yet?

Only as a custom re-bore job using a breeder-reactor-powered cutting laser and a D9-powered Dremel tool.

I think the waiting list is a couple of years long. And you have to pay in gold bullion.

With a modified muzzle brake, the carbine version doesn't even require the the normal crew of three needed to carry the rifle version.

BWhahahahahah!! I love that pic. Every time i see it I think about the Frito Bandido erasers that you could get when i was a kid.

If a kid showed up at school today with a Frito Bandido eraser, he would be expelled for “hate speech”.
And then probably put in foster care by CPS.

You know what the score is but for anyone who wants to learn more about the paganism and massive human sacrifice that carries over to the Mexico of today (after being suppressed for centuries) just read Hugh Thomas’ “The Conquest of Mexico”. This lays out what the conquistadors encountered with the natives

SO WHAT, Why does everyone here keep complaining about the southern border with Mexico, saying things like “we need the military on the border”?? Absolutely ridiculous, WE CAN NEVER CLOSE THE BORDER WITH MEXICO, AND NEVER WILL.. Got it, We cannot have a 300 Billion dollar a year War on Drugs without DRUGS, get over it. We need the free flow of DRUGS across the Border, 2/3 of ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES DEPEND on it, 2/3 of our Judicial System depends on it, not to mention the hundreds of Prisons,Probation Depts,Counseling Programs,.... We are talking about Hundreds of Thousands of Government Employees very professions. Get Over it, WE NEED THE WAR ON DRUGS more than anything else. Especially when it also gives us more power over you little people.

Ruling Class wannabe.?
