According to an article at The Blaze, a large quantity of bomb-making material has been discovered in the home of a naturalized citizen originally from Serbia.

Police entered the Escondido, California home and arrested George Djura Jakubec, an unemployed software consultant for possession of explosive devices and bomb-making materials, bank robbery and burglary.

The Los Angeles Times reports Jacubec is in jail, with bail set at $5 million.

Authorities also found homemade explosive devices, including a grenade.

The house came to the to the attention of authorities last weekend when a gardener was hurt in an accidental explosion.

One official said the gardener may have scraped against some of the exposive material and the friction caused a small explosion. “Apparently the suspect was experimenting in his yard, and some of it got left over,” the un-named official said.

The Times reported:

On Sunday, the Sheriff's Department bomb squad entered the house, retreating after seizing evidence that included homemade grenades. On Wednesday, the squad reentered the house, finding it "extremely cluttered, making movement and observation extremely difficult."

In a storage area outside the house, authorities found containers of hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid and 50 pounds of hexamine, a bomb-making material, authorities said.

Authorities also discovered blasting caps and quantities of the plastic explosive PETN - the same material used by Richard Reid, the so-called "shoe bomber".

He may be a sympathizer, Bosniak (Bosnian muslim), or a bomb nut. His name appears Eastern European.

The surname is Czech. I’m wondering about the muslim connection too. Oddly, the press is mum on religious affiliation </satire>

You know, you make an excellent point about the Tea Party.

How long will it take, before the liberals do something stupid and blame the Tea Party?

Should the conservatives move away from the Tea Party and call it something else? Just trying to stay 1 step ahead of the liberals?

The folks that organized the Tea Party did an excellent job and should always be commended. I know I'm grateful for their efforts. And would like to see further advancements in the conservative philosophies.

FredJake asked: "How long do you thnk it'll be before they say he did it because he was either (a) unemployed,. . ." Answer: Before you even thought to ask:
ABC video report Jakubec's wife Marina, from whom he had recently separated, told the San Diego Union-Tribune that her Serbian-born husband had lost his job three years ago and she believes he had become unbalanced. "I am afraid for my husband's mental state," she said. "He's not well."
Interestingly, the video reporter states Jacubek also travelled back and forth to Mexico frequently and has a long crime record.

The Muslims were for the most part Croats and they were who we were "protecting". The Serbs were our allies in WWII and the Croats were Nazi sympathizers because of the Nazi persecution of the Jews.

Obviously he was a Moslem, he was just trying to start a new business in America to assist all the new Moslem immigrants with their religious practices.
