Yep, the MSMediots claimed the boycott was a failure when in fact it appears the TSA blinked.

Yeah, it’s become obvious from news reports that TSA preempted “Opt Out Day” by shutting down most of the nekkid scanners and backing off from the “enhanced” pat-downs, all of which will undoubtedly return very quietly next week.
To: Nachum
I guess there were no security threats after all.
We won, keep up the pressure.

What about those who were “BAREly” scanned and groped? I wonder how they feel about this ‘good news’. Kind of like the “good news” that ONLY 5 PEOPLE were killed in a bus crash.

TSA has chosen to limit the publicity potential on this day and days before by unplugging them. What this really tells you is that these people don't really give a shit about terror - they care about CONTROL! These Nazis fully intended to fire them up willy-nilly once the news cycles have passed. It doesn't make them any less of the veritable SS troops they really are. As I read somewhere today, the Nazis and SS didn't start out with their full overcoat of oppression in the beginning; they put it on one layer at a time.

So, the question that must be asked of Obama and Napolitano is:
Was airline security put in danger because the scanners were turned off?

What I find most disturbing about the enhanced TSA screening is that it is not a temporary measure that we must endure until terrorism is defeated. It is a permanent intrusion on our liberties that will only get worse over time because we have no plan for victory. Hell, our government wont even name our enemy or say the word victory!

Exactly.
This morning I see they are lying that it was the storms that slowed Holiday travel, therefore there weren't the lines of travelers, therefore there weren't the delays. LIARS
The MSM is doing their best to make it sound as though it's a lot of to-do over nothing.
The TSA WILL be back at it with their onerous, and demeaning tactics after the Holiday guaranteed. The only thing to stop them will be we the people saying to them "NO WAY ARE WE GOING TO PUT UP WITH THIS," and mean it.

I’d rather take my chances with the scanner. If the TSA employees aren’t washing their hands and changing the gloves between each person being searched, they could spread diseases between the ticketed passengers going through the lines.
To: Natural Law
Napolitano is even the one who refused to say “terrorism,” choosing instead “man-caused disaster.”
They now call opponents of TSA measures “ domestic extremists.”
Americans are the enemy to this regime. Not Islamists.
To: Nachum
Of course, it’s all about CONTROL!

Smarter? No, there's a few different words to describe the reaction, which as you say could be attributed to being smart.
- craven - lacking even the rudiments of courage; abjectly fearful; "the craven fellow turned and ran"
- recreant - Unfaithful or disloyal to a belief, duty, or cause. [Middle English recreaunt, defeated, from Old French recreant, present participle of recroire, to yield in a trial by combat, surrender allegiance.]
- dastardly - Cowardly and malicious; base.

Yeah, the scanners and gropes will be back next week-and so will the horror stories, and that many more enraged passengers/victims.
The more people hear about these procedures, the more the procedures are disliked and more protests are made (and more vehemently)>
This ain't over.

Not in use or very minimal in Orlando but in use in New Orleans yesterday. Believe it or not a woman TSA agent in Orlando was extremely helpful. I was shocked, I tell you, Shocked.

The local news showed SFO (San Francisco airport) was almost empty in the early evening Wednesday.
People chose other means of travel.
To: BigBobber
That’s right, but the news media is making it appear, or trying to make it appear as though America is fine with their heavy-handed (pun intended) groping, etc. tactics.
They are blatantly lying about the entire airline aspect of the travel picture in favor of the TSA, thus in favor of their wonderguy Barak Obama, and his Merry crew of radical slurpee’s.
