Palin is not President. She hasn't been thinking about this. She hasn't even announced that she is running.
If Beck were really on our side (Conservative side) or on the Side of Palin then Beck would have set up palin with Questions on Obama and Obama’s fumblings so that Palin could destroy Obama and so look more presidential and competent than Obama.
Beck has always hated Republicans.Beck has always bashed them.
Palin wasn't expecting this kind of question. This is why she won't go on the liberal media shows but instead goes to see her “friend” and this is what he does to her.
I like the way Beck messes with the left with his antics, but he’s made it clear that he’s not a Republican. I really can’t figure out what he is and not sure if he considers himself a conservative.
Anyway, I just happened to catch this interview while running errands yesterday morning. Before he interviewed Sarah, he [or one of his alter egos on the show...hard to tell the difference sometimes] made the statement that he would support someone like Christie and would like to see him run - so that gave a bit of perspective regarding the interview, in which he obviously tried to manipulate her and throw her off - possibly get the kind of sound bite that’s being used here.
But he said many things to Sarah that were uncalled for and made him look small, such as telling her he would never put his kids in front of the media like she did.
Another thing he said bordered on condescending flattery and a backhanded compliment [paraphrased in his perky katie mode], “Sarah, Todd is so great. But..he’s great because you are in Alaska...I believe it would just ruin your family to move them to New York or D.C.”
But you could tell she was very aware and she handled him diplomatically, never lost her cool - just that one slip-up while she was rushing to get her thoughts out - and taken entirely out of context, and spread like gossip, by people who should know better.
Sarah is no fool as some on FR would want us believe. It was a great interview because of the way Sarah handled it, in spite of Beck’s personality/insecurity issues.
