Here is a direct link to a recent Fox News Poll on the field of mayoral candidates in Chicago, showing Rahm Emmanuel in the lead.

From the same source, here is video of former school superintendent Paul Vallas, as he endorses Gery Chico for mayor.

The headline was the work of Fox News.

You can thank them for the humor.

I agree that if by some miracle Rhambo were elected to this job, he would be at least as much of a screw-up as The Usurper has been, while being (if possible) even less charming.

Cool.
I enjoy seeing the original source before a bunch of bloviating bloggers get hold of it.

This has been in the works since the Feds told Daley to step down or face charges earlier this year.

NB: Rahm would lose in a head to head against just one candidate - hence the divide and conquer. They did the math.

The last item is placing Rahm in Burke’s debt. Once that happens the race is over - Mayor Emanuel.

Knowing Chicago as I do, that actually makes sense.

What I didn’t know was that Daley was that close to being indicted (although it would have been long overdue!)

The FBI’s been at City Hall for years now. My understanding is that if he stepped down he could walk. That’s all within the current Administration’s power.

Too bad for Rahm that he doesn’t meet eligibility requirements for residency—but hey, that didn’t stop his boss.

Rohm has almost the same problem as Obama -

He doesn’t meet the reidency requirements.

Obama doesn’t meet the citizenship requirements.

This has been in the works since the Feds told Daley to step down or face charges earlier this year.

And I am so sorry that happened since he came from such good mayoral stock. Who can forget his father's famous quote:
"The police are not here to create disorder, they''re here to preserve disorder!"

I mean that is good stuff.

Actually Daley Sr’s quote makes perfect sense if you’re from here.

It’s an old Chicagoism to pronounce “this” as “dis” and “these” as “deese.”

So he was really just saying “...preserve “dis” order.”

no?

ok, I’ll think of something else.....later.
