Seems to me that neither of those countries can inspire the confidence necessary for others to buy into their currencies. Russia seems always on the verge of a major breakdown, and China is so controlled that you’d never know one day to the next what they command-control would decide to permit or not permit, nationalize or not nationalize, or decide behind closed doors to totally screw.

Ignorant, divided, greedy, decedent and rejecting God/morals with no concept of duty and country anymore, this once great United States of America is in it's waining years throwing away all those virtues that made it grow to the economic, political, military power and social trend setter it is. The fact that this isn't news worthy has to do with the “ignorance” part.
Without looking any further down the comment list let me say... Hell yes this is big news. Not only big news but absolutely bad news for America. This will have a huge ripple effect across the world. Not only will other countries stop using the dollar but no one will be buying our bonds. This just exponentially accelerated our plunge into the economic toilet.
