Didn’t the WH yesterday say they would not be moving naval assets toward Korea?

Or was this already scheduled?

This is for training that was already scheduled, but if Bambi is true to form, he’ll divert it. For the real story of Obama’s cowardice with North Korea, the Asia Times is a good source.

IIRC, joint naval operations were already scheduled. Don’t know if the DPRK’s latest stupidity changes naval plans any.

"While planned well before yesterday's unprovoked artillery attack, it demonstrates the strength of the ROK (South Korea)-U.S. alliance and our commitment to regional stability through deterrence."

Don’t think it was a scheduled excercize. Looks more like we are trying to call N. Korea’s bluff.
