WASHINGTON Tea party backers fashion themselves as "we the people," but polls show the Republican Party's most conservative and energized voters are hardly your average crowd.
According to an Associated Press-GfK Poll this month, 84 percent who call themselves tea party supporters don't like how President Barack Obama is handling his job a view shared by just 35 percent of all other adults. Tea partiers are about four times likelier than others to back repealing Obama's health care overhaul and twice as likely to favor renewing tax cuts for the highest-earning Americans.
Exit polls of voters in this month's congressional elections reveal similar gulfs. Most tea party supporters 86 percent want less government intrusion on people and businesses, but only 35 percent of other voters said so. Tea party backers were about five times likelier to blame Obama for the country's economic ills, three times likelier to say Obama's policies will be harmful and twice as apt to see the country on the wrong track.

Yes, the Tea Party is going take back our country and roll to victory in 2012!
The State-Controlled Media is in a sour and unforgiving mood. They’re lying through their teeth about the country’s thinking.
They think if they just spread lies about the Tea Party we will run and hide, but NO WAY. We are going to take back America, and restore her greatness once again.
Go ahead, libs. Keep telling yourselves that the Tea Party is an aberration, and that it doesn't represent the majority opinion in this country.
Avert your eyes from the facts, and convince yourselves that the reason the Democrats took an historic ass kicking this November, is because of bad "messaging" by Obama and Congress.
This is precisely the sort of refusal-to-face-reality mindset that is going to ensure the total annihilation of the Democrat party in 2012.
I just hope our nation can hold together until then.
No Chit? Whoda thought?
Should be 100%
[a view shared by just 35 percent of all other adults.]
Which cooked poll did they get that number out of?
It depends on who they ask in the poll and how you ask it. Here’s a gallup poll for Nov 4-7 which is a more balanced poll. There are two areas, one has to do with whether one believes if the government is responsible to ensure that all get health care not to provide that health care, the other has to do with which system is prefered, government run or private run.

I guess the exerpt leaves out the part about them all being uneducated religious fanatics. That’s sarcasm by the way.
