It’s official now.
Whoooo Hoooo!!!!!!
Thanks MM.
This is big, people.
Yay, we win another...so what is total now 62? 63?
I don’t know.
I am shocked and appalled at how lousy the Donks have gotten at stealing elections. They couldn’t even rustle up a bag of votes left in the trunk of an old automobile? I think the Donks need an Obama to fire them up.
In other bad news for Donks the Republicans won a lot of Secretary of State slots in the recent elections. The Secretary of State can be the deciding factor in an election such as the one that Al Franken stole
+64 net gain, +67 gross gain.
Another great Sarah Palin endorsement.
AH! COOL! She has quite a track record.
I can’t believe a dem actually “conceding”! Rare indeed!
Any chance Altschuler can still win?
You know what? This is my district.
I don't care if it was posted before. I didn't see it an obviously a lot of others didn't either.
YAY!
I don’t know.
I’ve been watching this race closely as it’s my district.
I’m not sure where the others stand.
I know it's good, but don't know why it's 'big.' :)
Not if veccio can help it. The supervisor is a monster.
Well, it's another GOP-held seat. Gets us to 63, I think.
The incumbent, Maffei, was thinking about "going to the mattresses" over fewer than one thousand votes. Took him a while, but he thought better of it. I interpret this to mean that he didn't think the vote fraud machine could deliver for him in this district, which happens to be the one in which I live. This is good; IMHO it should encourage us that Democrat vote/voter fraud techniques won't work everywhere, at least not yet.
This seat, the NY 25th Congressional District, was in Republican hands for many years. Maffei was swept into office in 2008. Now he's out. There's a good chance our side can hold on to this seat in the future; the 2008 situation was an aberration. This is a large district, geographically, with many suburban, exurban, and rural voters who are for the most part self reliant patriots.
Finally, I have family members who were big Maffei supporters. Lawn signs, bumper stickers, etc. This will make Thanksgiving dinner a little easier for me to take. I won't have to say anything, and there's a good chance the subject of politics won't come up, at least when I'm around. This is a good thing on a personal level. ;)
Aw man, I spewed coffee on my laptop over that! ;)
