Flights attendants are joining pilots in getting to skip the new enhanced security procedures at airports.

The Transportation Security Administration confirmed the change on Tuesday after The Associated Press asked about it.

Now all that’s needed to restore sanity is a passengers’ union.

This is typical tyrannical government action. Impose a draconian system to oppress people, and then grant favored subjects leave from the system, so long as they fall in line.

Examples abound in Obamacare, where we are all screwed, but then some well-placed companies, unions, etc get waivers in exchange for not complaining.

Or the “Disclose” act, which imposed unconstitutional restrictions on free speech and association, but granted exemptions to loud, well-financed organizations like the NRA, thus buying their support or silence.

New pilot union. The old ALPA is still telling pilots to put up with it. USAPA listened to their members and told the TSA that they had had enough.
