Obama is trying to solve the old problem that no longer exists.
The current problem is the split in two geographic Pali entities.
Until the Pali’s have a unified identity, there can be no progress.
Obama et al don’t even know that all in the region have decided on a solution but the Pali split prohibits going forward.
