Jindal mentioned this on hannity, also.
He not only said he was told not to criticize obama, he said he was guided to stand next to Obama at the Congress. He also said fortunately, Crist pushed in and took the spot, for which he was thankful.
I am SO glad we got rid of Crist.
About time, could someone actually say that Bobby has actually been a good governor too?
Jimmy Carter was incompetent, but he wasn't a small man (not then anyways, now he's pretty small). But Obama has shrunk not only himself with his behavior, but the office as well.
I think it's fair to say that he surpasses the pettiness of even Nixon.
Obama is often compared to Carter (of course) and today, in a post here in FR, he was compared to Nixon.
This story, about Obama’s obsession with media image, makes me think of Obama-as-LBJ.
Obama’s plan was to bask in the glory of his celebrity and charm/BS his way through. Other than that, he had nothin’.
Obama failed to take into account the tens of millions of people who actually expected him to do his d*mned job, keep his nose to the grindstone, work hard, and take whatever criticism people dish out.
I’d remind anyone in public life that they’ve volunteered for the job and are required to take criticism, fair and unfair. Its part of the cost of doing business. Don’t like it? Don’t put yourself in the public eye.
Imagine if President Bush at the time of Katrina had ordered Governor Blanco not to go on TV and criticize him. It would have been the #1 story on the evening news.
