No details given. We’re left to assume he was martyred by the Muzzies. No mention of official Guinean govt harassment either, though it implies he had been repeatedly abused, attacked, arrested, etc.

Just Wow! ... This happens more than we would like to admit. I’ve been two Africa twice on short 2 week mission stints and I can honestly say that the native Christians are far more likely to be persecuted than Americans.

The Republic of Guinea in West Africa has been a communist country for many years. Their primary export is bauxite from which aluminum is derived. I recall in the early seventies a handful of their governmental official coming to the US to check out aluminum plants downstream from their ore. I was impressed that they were all university grads from European schools and interesting to be around.

Several years later Guinea was sending government officials over to do the same. These guys were surly and crude. It seems inbetween the two trips there had been another revolution in which everyone with a university degree was killed.

Very sad. African Christians are very brave.

Prayers are needed for his family and for Christians every where that are persecuted/killed for their belief in God and Jesus Christ. He knew the risks and he stood firm.
