South Korea Kim stated that this is to put a halt to North Korean nuclear weapons ambition, and is now being considered, which will go back on South Korea's committment in 1991 under President Roh Tae Woo to never manufacturer, house or use nuclear weapons in South Korea.<

Wonder how China will respond to this news? Let alone N.Korea Kim. This would change the equation just in the announcement.

South Korea will never again be able to count on the protection of the US with anything but talk. They should build it and far to the south where it couldn’t quickly and easily be overrun.

No, no - the last thing South Korea needs is nukes.

Nothing good will come of their “Cowboy Diplomacy”.

What they need is wimpy, French Homosexual diplomacy - like we have under Obama.

It’s doing great for us. :)

Unless South Korea already has tactical nukes on hand I doubt that they’ll get anything from barry any time soon. The man is dedicated to the nuclear disarmament of the US and our allies...what makes anyone in Korea think he’ll change course for them? Does anyone lnow if the South Koreans already have tactical nukes? Besides what may or may not be on their soil under US control?

S Korea and Japan need STRATEGIC nukes more than tactical ones.

The NORKS are Chicom puppets kept on life support just to intimidate the West.

China now has a massive inefficient business orientated infrastructure so interconnected with all the outs and ins of their huge economy the slightest disruption at any of the thousands of logistical bottlenecks would bring the entire Chinese imitation Capitalist society house of cards to a crashing smoking pile of paper.

The Chicom mob bosses know this and they also know a few Japanese Taiwanese and S Korean land based ICBMs pointed in their direction would cause a tremendous shift in their foreign policy--like curbing their rabid NORKies.

They would,of course, threaten and bluff, but without an operational ABM system MAD would restrict their behavior just like the Soviets and the USA.

“Tactical nukes” are arguably a contradiction in terms, but this ought to send a message to China.

We are closing in to Armageddon if nobody can stop Jong-il and Ahmadinejad over their nuke craze. Very soon all the terrorist adventurist regimes around the world will like to follow their example, including those living on alms. When that happens, MAD will no longer deter.
