And, another thing. That one of the agent touching that child at the airport, putting his shirt back on him....I thought about that all weekend, too. When my kids went to their DOCTOR, with me in the room....the DOCTOR didn't put their shirts back on....either I did, or the child did.
No. This is all VERY VERY wrong...
The other day there was a Senate hearing on the whole TSA search issue. The head of the TSA, John Pistole, testified. I saw this later on C-SPAN.
My impression is that the senators were ready to complain about TSA overreach, but Pistole made such a good impression with his testimony that they backed down. They did ask questions but they didn't criticize much and many thanked the TSA director for the wonderful job he is doing.
Pistole does not come across as a person lacking decency, He has been deputy director of the FBI. He clearly understands all the concerns but said he is not going to change the policy on searches at this time because of intelligence indicating genuine threats against aviation.
The hearing probably could have been more thorough but they did go into possible ways of making things less intrusive and even briefly discussed the Israeli methods, which Pistole seemed to be aware of.
Anyway it seemed to me that this one guy was majorly successful in giving the impression that an extremely competent person is running the show and making tough decisions for good reasons. Maybe he should not have gotten away with this, but that is what happened.
You have a better chance of getting hit by lightning, than by a terrorist. Nevertheless, the government uses this in order to take away our freedoms. Just think about that one.

And if a nationwide event were to happen, even if it was just people wearing T-shirts of a Koran being burnt it would cause a massive wave of resentment against Obama.

If you have to fly, half burn a koran and carry it through security. Make sure they see it, all toasted and black. Then leave it at the gate on a table, so others can see it before they fly.

Many of us have been forwarding these article via email and other forums. This great work has made such “armchair activism” much easier, providing a central point to gather relevant and controversial material to help re-enforce the point.
OK, King Baraq, why don’t you set an example for your subjects. Allow yourself to be searched according to the standards that your regime has established for the commoners, including the “pat down”, and allow the video of that search to be shown on TV and on YouTube.
If you aren’t willing to do that, then STFU.

The most frustrating part is the “huge inconvenience”???? This dude is tone deaf.
When will a reporter ask him whether he’d choose the nude scan or the molest route for his oldest daughter? (As a father, there is no acceptable choice for your child.)

All us need to buy Burkas, change our names to Arabic/Hispanic names, carry Muslim prayer beads and a copy of the Koran when we travel.
What would TSA do if every passenger showed up in Burkas and carrying Muslim prayer beads and a copy of the Koran?
Then approached, by a TSA agent, you say “My name is Jose Maria Mohammed, and I am a cross gendered new Muslim. Any attempt to pat me down or force me into the scan will be a big violation of my rights and privacy!”
“However, I volunteer to pat myelf down as per mad Janet Nappy, the fascist lesbo leader of TSA.”
