Obviously many flights are required for work, business, family emergencies, etc. But many other flights are discretionary.

Stop flying, people. That's the fastest way to fix this problem. The airlines will quickly revolt if you stop flying.

The advisories are now recommending arriving AT LEAST two hours before departure for domestic flights. With at least a one hour drive to the airport from my location, you'd have to be a masochist to want to fly to a destination less than five hours away by car.

From what I understand the airports can opt out of TSA and a few already have.
