WASHINGTON (AP) -- Air travelers buoyed by President Barack Obama's request for his national security team to consider less intrusive airport screenings shouldn't expect anything different at airports soon.

"No, we're not changing the policies," the head of the agency responsible for airport security said Sunday.

I have a strange feeling there's a lot of chatter. Christmas time is probabky a favorite for the Muzzies because it is a Christian Holiday...

I think Reed was on/near Christmas...

Well, for those who are a little lonely this holiday season and crave some human attention in those ‘special areas’, there is always the TSA.

Of course, Hitler and the Nazis didn’t change their policies until they were defeated. Right and wrong didn’t enter into their thinking. In fact, it wasn’t thinking at all. It was just a demonic driven agenda, like TSA’s and this government’s agenda.

Excellent! Then we the people will be getting rid of YOU, and the authority above you, until we get to a person who will say "no" to this unconstitutional act.

Hope you liked your job for the brief time you had it. BTW, the FBI won't be taking you back either.

It is arrogant government that the last election spoke out against.

Next Friday is the 2 year anniversary of Mumbai and that’s supposedly the target date for the current Berlin and London plots. Is the U.S. being targeted for Friday also? Maybe.

Regardless, Obama should be directing security efforts on MUSLIMS both HERE and those flying in from FOREIGN airports.

But of course MUSLIMS are a protected class according to Obama, even though they are the threat.

People should have "No Fly Monday's". Get the airlines screaming at the Admin.

Then you can bet there will be a bailout for the TSA-morons. Getting to be a police state. Obozo's way of controlling people.

1) Buses
2) Trains
3) Car-pooling with randoms on Craigslist

With my 4CylinderCar, I can do 360 miles on a tank of gas in any direction without a rest stop in under 6 hours, going 65mpg, getting 35 mpg.

Screw flying.

When the airlines fail, can we live with them being taken over by the government?

We went 8 years without a Muslim winning. Yes, we were lucky with Reid....lucky that there are true Americans who willingly stepped up.

But hat was a different attack.

We were warned about the Panty Bomber. We were warned about Hasan of Ft. Hood. We had the Times Square Bomber in our siights.

All 3 were all about PC and our Muslim President.

YES, IT'S TIME TO STUFF THE PC CR** AND REALLY PROTECT AMERICA.

And it's time to impeach a President who has thrown the Constitution under the bus.

WE ARE NO LONGER FREE!!!

i believe airports can “change TSA” — they can fire them and replace with private firms who might have more rational and effective policies.

Unless, of course, you have to fly on a Monday.

This "Just don't fly!" argument is a load of bunk. For many of us, flying isn't an option. It's a Hobson's choice --not really a choice at all. Do I want to lose my job because I refuse to fly on business? No thanks. Do I want to spend half my vacation time on the road? Again, I'll pass. And what will boycotts accomplish? You think the government is going to allow the airline industry to tank? Not a chance. They'll prop it up with our taxes.

On a side note, It's interesting to see the Obama Administration take ownership of Bush's TSA and make it even more miserable. Obama could've scored major points with the voters by dismantling this abortion. Instead, he went the opposite direction.

“The current threat level is too high to lessen the use of full body scans and intimate pat-downs that some passengers undergo at some airports, he said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

I think the key part of that statement is “that SOME passengers undergo”. If the current threat is too high to lessen the use of full body scans, then EVERYONE that doesn’t go through the body scanner should have the pat down, but that’s not what’s happening.

We have some random people going through the body scan, some random people getting the “intimate pat down”, some random people having to experience both indignities and still even more random people just passing through a metal detector and skipping along their merry way to board the plane.

So the threat level is so seriously high, but because we can’t cause delays and back up the planes doing all this nonsense, we have to let a random amount of people randomly pass up our highly important high security measures. WTH?!
That doesn’t even make sense. Random people don’t want to blow up my plane. A very specific person wants to blow it up! How is this all supposed to make us safe when he might have just breezed through security because when he got to the front of the line the TSA agents were all occupied groping grandma and the kids?

My thinking is this TSA boob has never had to deal with the fury of a patient man. There’s a firestorm of righteous indignation afoot in the land but this bureaucrat is too dense to sense it. Nimbler politicians, however, recognize it and will move to get out of its way before they are consumed by it.
