TSA Unionization: A $30 Million Annual Gift to Union Bosses

Another reward for union bosses; another slap in the face for Americans.

When we have an administration more concerned about rewarding its union cronies than the U.S. Constitution (see ObamaCare for reference), giving union bosses access to the wallets of TSOs was only a matter of time. Now, the Transportation Security Agency’s blue shirts who are doing Janet Napolitiano’s bidding frisking, groping, molesting and seemingly sexually assaulting the American public, are about to get license for further abuse—a union card.

In a significant victory for federal employee unions, the Federal Labor Relations Authority decided Friday that Transportation Security Administration staffers will be allowed to vote on union representation.

The decision clears the way for a campaign by the government’s two largest labor organizations, the American Federation of Government Employees and the National Treasury Employees Union, to represent some 50,000 transportation security officers.

It was bound to happen. Before it became an agency known as Fourth Amendment violators, due to its critical national security responsibilities, the TSA was created in 2001as a non-union agency As labor attorney Jay Sumner notes:

TSA has not been unionized yet. The board just ok’d it to go forward.

Methinks that what all of the insanity has been about. A lot of TSA employees were not interested in unionizing—now that everyone is threatening to assault them, union protection looks quite attractive.

Thanks, Drudge.

So can we assume that you are a TSA employee?

You can assume anything you like. I am not going to give up any sources.

Is it ok for Drudge to post phony photos?

“President Colleen Kelley said NTEU will continue to engage in an aggressive organizing campaign among TSA employees and to press the Obama administration for collective bargaining rights at the agency.

A directive to that effect would “clear the way for a representation election that would bring to the TSA workplace a mechanism for the voices of front-line employees to be heard,” she said. The union also will continue to seek legislation to provide for collective bargaining rights.

“TSA has yet to reach the status sought for it by Congress of a world-class transportation protection agency,” Kelley said. “It is troubled by high turnover, low morale, low pay and a variety of day-to-day workplace issues that collective bargaining is best-equipped to address.”

AFGE officials said they hoped President Obama’s nomination of John Pistole to head the agency could mark a new beginning.

“Pistole appears to have a deep commitment to public service and sees the value in a federalized workforce,” said Sharon Pinnock, AFGE membership and organization director.”

Whether opting out or not, anyone and everyone could protest by wearing a yellow star. It should not be a Star of David because that could be misconstrued, but a yellow star nonetheless.

I just won’t fly until we get the airlines involved with security rather than these Union perverts hired by the ‘BIG SIS’
