Glenn Beck: They’re lying to us about the mystery contrail
Hot Air ^ | 11/19/2010 | Right Scoop

Posted on 11/20/2010 11:34:24 PM PST by JohnKinAK

Glenn Beck said today that he has spoken to military experts about the mystery contrail from a few weeks ago and he says it’s definitely not a plane, but rather a two stage missile. He just wants to know where it came from, and he has a theory. Beck postulates that this missile was possibly from a Chinese sub off the coast of California, perhaps as a show of force to the world, but even more so to President Obama.

The USA claims 24 contiguous miles as of 1999 according to what I was able to find. Before that, it was the old traditional 3 miles and then 12 miles.

Thanks

So, the missile was an SLBM launched from international waters ....

Hmmmmm. So the USN couldn’t strike back

even if they had not been asleep ...

By “alien/chemtrails crowd” I’m assuming you mean the supposed ‘wacko people’ of which you have no faith in or belief that UFOs are real, but are ‘weather balloons’ or some other government cover-up phenomena. If that’s the case, I can tell you as a two-time CE-1 that they are existing crafts using exotic matter as propulsion. If you don’t know what a CE-1 one is or what exotic matter is by now, then you are hopelessly out of the loop and possibly light-years behind in your celestial and scientific knowledge and/or research. Move home, sheeple, if such is the case!!!

Another day passes, and still not an ounce of proof from the missile crowd. Must be frustrating to keep backing something that never happened.

Meanwhile, the evidence of what really happens continues to build...This picture was taken from Hormosa Beach. Notice anything familiar?

Hat tip to TXnMA.

Yep, I notice desperation on the part of the paranoid folk who don’t have an ounce of proof, but want us to disprove them...

"I saw a vid of the contrail with the exhaust flames he mentioned. Unless the aircraft was on fire."

This CBS videoMaybe you should check out my analysis of that video in Comment #1 on that thread.

CBS shows only 14 seconds TOTAL of video -- comprising three short clips separated (with big gaps) in time -- and mixed and swapped them around to make it appear more exciting. Then CBS flat lied by calling that edited mess, "RAW video"... Don't take my word for it. Look at the video and check it out for yourself...

That "flame" (reflection, actually) lasts no more than four seconds out of their entire video. They just keep "looping" it to make it seem longer. The total distance traveled in that time was just a few plane lengths.

BTW, if it was a missile, why was that "flame" not visible the whole time -- as they are on other evening launches?,

Good thing there is no evidence of strong upper winds pushing that “plume” to and fro — and shoving it southward at 80 mph — minimum.

If you like graphics, check out this one of mine (building on the work of others)...

Notice that it ties the video to a series of stills shot from Long Beach -- that just thappen to align perfectly with the radar-recorded fight path of UPS flight 902 from Honolulu to Ontario, CA.

Given enpough tinfoil, it looks just like a missile...

"Yeah, really fast winds that blow a contrail for miles in less than a minute with destroying the contrail’s nice tight figure."

You have obviously never been aloft in a hot air baloon -- traveling along with a strong wind, You can't even feel a breeze -- becuse you and the air are moving together. Same thing for a cloud or contrail...

Small differentials in airspeed may kink it slightly (as in your graphic) but it can sail along for miles without disintegrating.

What about

3) FReepers with a solid ten years of conservative posting here who tell you that your eyes were fooled by CBS deceptively editing (looping and mixing up the time order) of a sum total of 14 seconds of video?

You (and your eyes) have been had by a cheap CBS trick.

And, FWIW, I don't trust the traitorous regime of the socialist Kenyan usurper who illegally squats in our White House any more than you do -- probably less...

Well, just because you're a newbie I'm not going to hold your opinions against ya! :)

LOL!!

Your FR number must be in the teens! Were you the one who dreamed up the name, "FReeper"? '-)

Imagine how PO'd you'd feel if you were simply explaining scientific facts -- and some tinfoil head accused you of being a shill for Øbozo!

Has anyone ever explained how that missile kept getting closer and closer at the end of the video - and how Levyas had to adjust for its sideways drift, but its forward progress was easy to track? By that time, that ?missile? should have been near outer space -- on the other side of the Pacific.

And then it later was easily photographable by a guy with a 300mm lens in an apartment in Long beach...

Can you say, "inbound plane -- not outbound missile"? Sure, you can -- but there are many here who...

Exactly right! The issue was never about the USN preventing or retaliating for a foreign missile launch on our coast. It is about an ineffective pozer in the White House that emboldens and invites our enemies to brazenly flaunt their new found superior position against us.

"If it had been a jet airliner or cargo jet making a simple vapor trail incoming to US coastal airspace, the News Copter would have tracked it until it could clearly have been seen as a contrail arcing in its track to Denver, or to Chicago, or to Memphis, etc."

~~~~~~~~
And that is exactly what happened (except, despite your sarcasm) the destination of the cargo plane was Ontario, CA.
The graphic I posted in #348 on this thread is MY (TXnMA, 10th FR anniversary: this Veterans day) handiwork. I worked with the raw materials (with full metadata included in the files).
I got the three "video vignettes" directly from the end of the CBS video that was released by NECN. Notice that there is considerable time overlap between the end of the video and the series of ten (300mm f/l maximum) still shots taken from Long Beach by Rick Warren. That means that Levyas and Warren were photographing the same object at the same time -- obviously over the CA coast, and not in outer space over the Pacific.
I have never seen source data to verify that "35 miles" figure that appeared in an early cBS graphic (you trust cBS?) .Can you validate the "35 miles" distance?
Nevertheless, how could that "missile" have taken so long to cover less than 35 miles -- and be in range of Rick Warren's D90 camera?
~~~~~~~~~~~

Now, go ahead -- call me (TXnMA) a "government shill"...

And the satellite pic shows that the contrail is intact and pretty much straight all the way back to Hawaii until it disappears about 200 miles from the CA coast. It is a minumum 4 1/2 hour flight, usually 5, from Honolulu to LA and the contrail persists clear back to Hawaii all that time. Yet there is no contrail for awe808 which flew the same route exactly one half hour earlier.

You only use your head for a hat rack don't you? LOL

"Yet there is no contrail for awe808 which flew the same route exactly one half hour earlier."

Same route, different altitude. The UPS flight was 2000 feet higher. With respect to the conditions for contrail formation, that is more than enough. Forecasting contrail levels is critical for planning combat missions because even the stealthiest aircraft become obvious if they are trailing a long white condensation trail behind them. Sometimes the "con level" is a thousand feet thick. Sometimes 10 thousand feet thick. Stay 500 feet out of it and you don't con. It the AWE flight was out of the con level, it could have flown the exact ground path of the UPS jet and not con.
