Glenn Beck said today that he has spoken to military experts about the mystery contrail from a few weeks ago and he says it’s definitely not a plane, but rather a two stage missile. He just wants to know where it came from, and he has a theory. Beck postulates that this missile was possibly from a Chinese sub off the coast of California, perhaps as a show of force to the world, but even more so to President Obama.

I watched my missiles from a super top secret, mission critical, unspecified location. I'm certain most freepers would recognize this trumps just a plain old "classified angle".

Exactly right IMO.
I think the lighting is a pretty accurate testament to the time of day. But he gives times for both videos in his original comment and in the comments of the video thread.

I am certain. I just looked at the meta data from the mp4 file from the camera. I also have footage from the contrail taken at 'Tue 09 Nov 2010 05:58:38 AM PST'. I am uploading it now. Looks way different.

Not trying to correct you so much as trying to home in on the most accurate info we can get. Although I find it a little odd; there aren’t many comments on either of hounddog1011’s videos. That does make it easy to read them all though.
He is/was a little confused about his dates and times but tries to correct them. He is asked a confusing question that misstates the time he recorded the first video and he agrees with it. He may have changed the time (at the top not in the comments) since then. I think Youtube posters can alter their submissions. He changed the title once.
But if you read all of his comments I think it can be sorted out to a fairly certain degree. It is strange that he hasn’t come back for days to respond to further queries.

Because they aren't experts in various kinds of airplane contrails that apparently DO make the kind of contrail that was seen...

I won’t argue with someone who is only a private pilot and goes to websites to get their info. I know what it was from first hand/actual experience with multiple stage missles. Not only did I watch my missle launches from the ground, I also watched them through no less than three camera angles and sometimes another angle that was classified. Shout all you want to, but it does not make you correct. Also, your pet website only “nails it dead on” because that is what you want to believe. Also, I am a private pilot and that doesn’t make anyone an expert on the sky just because we fly in them. You stick to your “expertise” and I will stick with my actual/practical experience. You don’t even know who is behind your website, and you seem awful quick to believe what the government wants you to believe.

I saw the talking heads on the TV trying to explain that “Yeah if you saw it from the wrong angle —you’d think it was a missile contrail” This is such a load of CR_P. If you’ve lived in L.A. for any time you can recognize a missile contrail — we see them shot off from Vandenberg AFB near Santa Barbara — trust me the talking heads are buying the government lie — and are morons.
the Horizon is 17 miles away but this launch was 35 miles from the coast. That means it (the SLBM) would already have been high in the sky before conventional coastal radar could see it.
Additionally, it was moving directly away from large radar centers that may have detected it for only a few moments at the tremendous speed it achieved soon after launch.
If it had been a jet airliner or cargo jet making a simple vapor trail incoming to US coastal airspace, the News Copter would have tracked it until it could clearly have been seen as a contrail arcing in its track to Denver, or to Chicago, or to Memphis, etc.
No innocent bystander on the coast would have had a clue that this occurred. It was by chance that the News helicopter was high enough in the sky to see clearly over the horizon with a telephoto lens large enough to capture what was present.
All through The Cold War, American forces and Soviet forces postured against each other and to a lesser extent the same happened with the Chinese. Why should anyone be surprised that a Chicom sub could launch a SLBM outside our Territorial waters with impunity. What could we do about? Nothing at all short of sinking the sub on the threat alone which is clearly an act of war.
Is 35 miles inside or outside our territorial waters ...?

Yes, the MSM and the evening news are all lined up saying the same odd bizarre thing: optical illusion, nothing to see here, could be toy rocket shot off by kids as a prank (no joke they actually said this!) ...
No one knows who did it or why;
but this laughable idea that it is an airliner contrail is so obviously beneath contempt or even rational discussion ... in spite of the sneering rabid vile comments from newbie armchair bloggers...

There is no question that it was a missile.
The question is whose missile. (US or China)

Because he has not fully understood the event, and thus is uneasy with the reality of the missile.
The missile was not a threat to us in and of itself, but it is a threat to the peace, safety and soverignty of the US if it results in the Republican leadership in the Senate getting weak-kneed and allowing START to pass.
