Freeper help needed: Recording of tonight's Geraldo At Large mentions of Free Republic
Saturday, November 20, 2010 | Kristinn

Posted on 11/20/2010 8:16:17 PM PST by kristinn

Can someone record the Grealdo At Large replay on the Fox News Channel tonight, please?

On the first half hour of the show, he brings up Free Republic with regard to the Bristol Palin/Dancing With the Stars controversy:

Oh my goodness! “Geraldo at Large” is on Fox right now (PST) and Geraldo’s doing a segment on Bristol’s stint on DWTS. He just said that FreeRepublic dot com is one of the websites with an organized voting effort. He put up graphics of several posts from the FR DWTS threads about voting like democrats, and how to vote from multiple phone lines and using multiple email addresses. The only other website he likewise mentioned and quoted was hillbuzz.

How funny!

It's their wonderful cheek bones, chins, noses - sculptured, chiseled beauty.

Rivera then outlined a map of Iraq, and showed the relative location of Baghdad and his location with the Army's 101st Airborne unit. The reporter then continued with his diagram to illustrate where the 101st would be going next.

I saw that when it happened. I rarely use the 'F' word in the house...But my response as he was doing it was "What is that F***ing Idiot doing? He's giving away the battle plan! Doesn't he think they watch TV over there??"

He was out of the unit that afternoon (Central Time).

It's tough to take him seriously as an 'intelligent correspondent' after that.

I never watched before either. Bristol the Pistol is her mama’s daughter. Loved what she said, they are going to criticize me anyway so I might as well dance. I wonder how many Palins will be there Monday and Tuesday.
How does the voting go? They are going to be dancing Monday and Tuesday. Do we vote both nights?

Only takes a few minutes reading to understand. They gave up on dems. Remember the dems who put the documentary together about Bambi stealing the primary that no one would show on state run media? They hate dems now and have vowed to bring them down.
I really like who ever is doing the writing. Cool people.

The whole voting system for DWTS is weird this season.

Hsan't it always been the same voting system?

The way I understand it, it's half talent, half popularity. The panel of judges' votes count 50% and the viewers votes count for the other 50 percent.

All this means is that Bristol is very popular because the viewer votes are overwhelmingly for her.

I watched it too. Since he is an educated lawyer it’s hard not to think that he knew what he was doing, helping the enemy.

The worst thing is you can see it on his face, this superior look comes across and he blows his guest off. I’m with you, I find him irritating to watch. He’s overly opinionated and goofy. I’ve been on FR for years, I saw NO orchestrated effort to try to get Bristol votes. I’m sure there were people who posted about let’s all go vote for Bristol. So what, big deal it’s a FREAKIN DANCE SHOW. If he put this much effort into REAL elections, their wouldn’t be so much election stealing going on.

I keep the tube on and set to Fox News at night...except Saturday nights. I forgot, and happened to hear this one life.

Nice to know Gerry is so concerned for Bristol. At least it keeps him from doing other stuff, like drawing maps during wartime to our troops on live national television. He is SUCH the genius. < /s>

Oh I don’t really believe in any conspiracy or failure of the judging.

It’s just weird that more obvious dancers went down.

Kinda like watching a Karaoke contest with the obviously more talented singer or singers losing.

Unfortunately, one can acquire an education and not show many signs of intelligence. Common sense is as rare as lizard fur these days.

Geraldo doesn’t know what he’s talking about. There have only been a small number of women here voting for Bristol weekly. There is no massive conspiracy on FR. People ALL OVER THE COUNTRY are supporting Bristol.

That at best is an urban legend. Where were their votes when it mattered? No there - zip, nada, no where.

Geraldo devoted an entire segment to this non-story...lol.

Imagine if we had the power he’s willing to assign to us! And the fool did it on national TV! OH, the embarrassment he should be feeling, but he’s too stupid and caught-up in ‘conspiracy’ to see through such idiocy. LOL.

Talk about a case of PDS! LOL.

A quick perusal of your thread, Dr Scarpetta, would show that there’s a relatively small number of us women who faithfully post every Monday and Tuesday night and our combined votes don’t add more than 1,000 to her totals if that! LOL. Hilarious.

Free Republic got “grate” publicity: Geraldo said, and I quote: “Free Republic is devoted to Sarah Palin” = “It is a very conservative website”.

Sarah Palin will surely hear about this and I expect Jim will get tickets to her inaugural for all of us!

:)

GO SARAH!

GO BRISTOL!

Everyone need to vote as soon as the show starts! Phone lines will be jammed, and it will be extremely hard to vote online, as it was last week.

VOTING on DWTS — HOW IT WORKS:

During the live shows, judges will give a score based on several factors, including technical execution. But the judges’ scores alone do not decide a couple’s fate.

Phone lines, text votes (AT&T customers only) & online polls will open at the top of each performance show so that viewers can vote for their favorites. Phone & text lines will stay open for 30 minutes after the end of the show. Online voting will remain open until 11am (Eastern Time) the next day.

Can’t wait until tomorrow night, when I get to vote like an ACORN-SEIU Democrat in Chicago!

100 votes for Bristol (at least).

Geraldo and the ‘conspiracy nuts’ want to see Chicago-style voting = well ‘bring-it-on!’

I’m good for 20 votes! LOL.
