David Richard Lovshin was already on probation for a criminal abuse conviction after he sexually abused a mentally impaired victim in 2005. But he didn't learn his lesson. He was witnessed by a relative taking a 5-year-old girl into her bedroom. The witness then heard screams...
When police interviewed the girl, she said that Lovshin had raped her on multiple occasions. During their investigation, detectives discovered that he'd also raped a 10-year-old girl. The second girl's injuries were so bad that doctors warn she may never be able to have kids.
Yet prosecutors took a plea this week to save the girls from testifying...
the Cloquet, Minnesota perv's real sentence likely awaits him when he arrives at prison.

For crying out loud... How morally misguided so many have become!
It should be a no-brainer, in my opinion. Multiple child rapes?
PUT. HIM. DOWN.
No, I do not think that an already incarcerated criminal should have to exact the justice that the ‘justice’ system should have meted out. In a sane world, a man (and I use that term loosely) who has raped at least 2 children should be executed by the state. Ideal method being the electric chair.
Ok as long as its no more than that.
You know why child molesters are the scum of the earth in prison, despised more than murderers? Because sometimes someone just needs killin,’ but NO CHILD deserves to be molested.
Because that would make it very easy to use children as pawns in custody and other cases, for one thing.
We've seen from the many cases of sex abuse hysteria in the 1980s that children can be coaxed to say things that are patently untrue.
The accused has a right to face his accuser. It's not perfect for the victims, but the accused is assumed innocent and has rights.
My suggestion would be to have minimum sentencing that takes into account the trauma to the victim. Instead of seven years, which is what this slime ball got, how about 50? It wouldn't prevent all victims from testifying, but it would cut down substantially on repeat victims.
I remember back when a man beat his wife up enough to send her to the hospital and yet they could do nothing because the wife would not testify against the husband. So they passed a law where the police can arrest him on charges whether she testifies or not.
In that case, even if the wife refused to testify, the police officer could testify as to what he saw (fresh bruises, the house being torn up, her saying that the husband had hit her, etc.). It would be a rare case of child sexual abuse where the police saw the abuse taking place. If they did, of course they could testify, much as doctors and nurses who witness the after-effects of abuse testify now.
Hanging would be better. Rope is cheap, can be re-used, and in public (which executions should be) gives a good graphic warning to others who might be contemplating following the same path.

I am pinging the list because there are many stories like this. Man rapes child, man does some time, man is let loose, man rapes child, man does some time, man is let loose, etc.
Child molesters should be executed, and no twenty years of appeals. He raped a child? Okay, shoot him. The underuse of the death penalty is a shame and a crime in itself. The bogus idea that "civilized countries don't execute people" is a miscarriage of justice, an insult and affront to victims and their relatives and communities. It is necessary for a peaceful society that those who commit heinous crimes be removed from the planet. Incarcerated for years is NOT the answer. Execution is.
If these dirt bags were DOA in prison - how the hell are so many repeat offenders?
In Massachusetts these people are in a protected wing with other such people. They don't even mingle with the general population. When one of the inmates in this section killed another one ( a pedophile homosexual priest ) it was big news. Careers in the prison came to a halt over it.
One of the worst cases was the Jeffrey Curley abduction, rape and murder. The two bastards who did it are just fine and one of them married his boyfriend and was happily reported to be setting up house in the slammer. And of course this guy is in the protected region of the prison.
Are you muslim?
I’ve stated my views many times on FR.
It’s only because of leftist idiocy that the death penalty is not used properly.
Once after a several month stint (once a week) on grand jury duty, the county DA who was retiring soon and I had a private conversation. We jurors learned a lot and one of the things we learned is that those who commit most of the crimes in our rural county are well known to the authorities, and commit crimes over and over and over and over again. It’s basically a career choice.
So I told the DA - seems as though the only way to change this is public canings, like in Singapore.
He agreed, and said that sort of punishment was indeed needed. But that the public would never go for it.
I think the public will start going for it. There isn’t enough money to incarcerate everyone, public pain and public shame is not only a huge money saver, but it will work! And is actually much more merciful to criminals as they will learn much faster to changer their ways and not spend years rotting in jail cells.
A few generations ago rapists, murderers, child molesters and kidnappers were usually executed, and not after 20 years of appeals, either.
Thanks to the ACLU and other bleeding heart leftist organizations, now such criminals are free to torture the public over and over again.
I’m surprise you think that’s a good thing.
>>I find it odd that supposedly decent people think convicted criminals who are already incarcerated for other crimes, should be tasked with serving extralegal societal justice to convicted sexual offenders.<<
Because the lawyers, courts, police won’t do their job, somebody has to give us justice. If the task falls to convicted criminals, so be it. For a better answer, ask the victims and their families.
>>Am I the only person here who has a problem with this perverted attitude?<<
Sadly, you are not. That is why the real perverts walk among us and justice is done by criminals.
I totally agree.
Amen!
I am so pro-death penalty.
It’s disgusting that rapist, child molesters and murderers are living in prison on our dime, and often get loose to commit the same crimes over and over again.
That is one of the symptoms of a fraudulent government; they can’t even take care of the most odious criminals. They coddle them and keep them alive so they can do more harm to the innocent.
There’s an old Jewish say goes something like this:
Mercy to the cruel, is cruelty to the innocent.
And that’s the truth!
