Imagine you’re a commie
It’s easy if you try.
John Lennon was a disgusting pig.
If you listen to the lyrics of that song “Imagine” it really does sound like he’s singing the praises of Communism.
Having Yoko as your “wife” would a bit like living under Mao and not because she is Asian.
It isn’t just the praises of communnism it is the freaking communist manifesto set to music.
It is a lullaby.
Imagine no possesions. Try to get a socialist to give you all their possesions. Come on. It’s easy if you try.
That is because he was a communist pig.
Rest in fire, John... oh and bank up some coals for Paul, he will join you soon enough...
Another dead junkie- why, I bet he’s up there in heaven right now trying to get a fix with Jerry Garcia.
I’m just glad you not making the decisions for the rest of us, too
Do they show the best part?
Instant Karma got him.
Imagine youre a communist
Its easy if you try.
Imagine all the people
worshiping the devil.
Imagine there’s no America
It isn’t hard to do
Imagine there’s no religion
Nothing to stop us from killing
Living life in hell
This, and another show called “Masterpiece: Lennon” will be on public commie TV in the next couple nights (example,
9-10:30 pm Sun & Mon nights on WGBH 2, Boston)
I still remember this bit in National Lampoon’s Letters FROM The Editors (was after his death)
Dear Sirs:
Imagine no possessions. What a terrible, terrible thought.

(I prefer George myself; cause i’m the taxman, yeah I’m
the taxman, and you’re working for no-one but me)
WGBH takes you on a journey through the second half of the life of John Lennon with two special programs. First, Masterpiece’s presentation of Lennon Naked is an intimate look at Lennon’s final years with The Beatles. Then, flash forward year’s later with American Master’s LennoNYC, chronicling the time Lennon and his family spent in New York City.
Lennon Naked
Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who) channels John Lennon in this acclaimed recreation of Lennons last turbulent years with the Beatles, co-starring Naoko Mori (Torchwood) as Yoko Ono, the woman blamed for breaking up the band, and Christopher Fairbank (Masterpiece Tess of the DUrbervilles) as Freddie Lennon, Johns absentee father.
Premieres Sunday, Nov 21 at 9pm on WGBH
LennoNYC
LennoNYC is the story of how Lennon found redemption not in the public adoration he craved as a youth, but in the quiet and simple pleasures of fatherhood. It is also a New York immigrants tale. Lennon came to New York City in 1971 seeking what every other immigrant has sought: freedom the freedom to be himself and not Beatle John, the freedom to live a normal life.
Premieres Monday, Nov 22 at 9pm on WGBH
I’ll bet he is not up there...
