No, I mean, "Where's the evidence that anyone in the military acted in a manner consistent with a large ballistic missile of unknown origin having just been launched mere miles from the California coastline?"
I'll start believing the creepy contrail is a missile, once I see evidence that someone started acting like it was a missile before it was on TV.
“Testimony [pronunciation] 1a: The tablets inscribed with the Mosaic law or the ark containing them b: a divine decree attested in the Scriptures 2a: evidence based on observation or knowledge: authoritative evidence b: a solemn declaration usually made orally by a witness under oath in response to interrogatories by a lawyer or authorized public official 3: a public acknowledgment or profession (as of religious experience) [citation]”
And of course, if it isn't sworn testimony then it isn't evidence -- it is merely a statement.
All I have talked about, and continue to talk about is the lack of eye witnesses. Where are the witnesses to this spectacular event?
You’ve asked questions that have no factual or logical connection to the event.
Strawmen.
The only witness I can find is Gil Leyvas.
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/11/10/earlyshow/main7040379.shtml
“I saw a big plume coming up, rising from looked like beyond the horizon and it continued to grow,” Leyvas said.
He zoomed his camera in and stayed on it for about 10 minutes. To him it looked like an incoming missile.
“It was unique. It was moving,” he said. “It was growing in the sky.”
In other words, you can't or won't answer the questions.
The launch of a small sub based ICBM 35 or 40 miles out at sea is not a spectacular event to someone standing on the shore, or in a small boat that hides between the swells except for a few seconds as the crest passes by.
Because it was a missile, with a dense exhaust plume that lasted for a long time, it provided an attention getting visual display to a helicopter crusing at about 4000 feet.
To those on the ground, the fact that it was so far out, and headed away, made its observation slight.
Just because you disagree with someone, there’s no need to call them a shill. The same could be said of you, but hasn’t.
Using personal attacks is a sign you are losing the debate.
I guess you’ve never considered for one single moment that you may be wrong about this. What if it turns out you are completely wrong?
Headed away? So they weren't shooting at us?
Must have been Japan they were aiming at.
Yeah... because the missile is so fast, it wouldn't be on doppler long enough for them to notice. ATC radar wouldn't pick it up for the same reason. Accelerating so quickly, it would have been 'gone' in one or two minutes.
You can tell a missile because of the turbulence in the contrail, for one.
A lot of experts have said its a missile.
Where it came from is apparently still unknown to the general populace.
Sonic boomGreater altitude also increases the boom's lateral spread, exposing a wider area to the boom. Overpressures in the sonic boom impact area, however, will not be uniform. Boom intensity is greatest directly under the flight path, progressively weakening with greater horizontal distance away from the aircraft flight track. Ground width of the boom exposure area is approximately one statute mile for each 1,000 feet of altitude (5 m/m); that is, an aircraft flying supersonic at 30,000 feet will create a lateral boom spread of about 30 miles, or at 10,000 meters a spread of 50 kilometers.
This perfectly explains why a sonic boom from a missile launched 35 miles out to sea heading west-northwest would not be heard in LA
The missile came out of a restricted area.
Do you think there were a lot of eye witnesses there?
“Yes, but obviously the idiot was just shooting static, lingering exhaust. The fact that it remained so dense for so long by itself rules out contrails completely.”
Yeah, it’s weird the complete and unedited footage showing this event hasn’t been shown. Seems like it would either show a missile or a jet, if it’s around 10 minutes long.
Freegards
Fast boat, shoulder-launched missile, cassus belli.
And Jayna Davis in re OKCBomb. The unfinished business of John Doe Number Two, Andreas Carl Strassmeier, Dennis Mahon, Ramzi Youssef et al.
We're from the government.
Pay no attention to the shaped charge on the ceiling of the Concrete Room killing twenty women and children.
Pay no attention to Carlos Ghigliotti the FLIR expert for the Davidians found dead as he was finalizing proof of 200 shots into the buildings on the final fiery attack.
The flammable CS, the ventilation.
One long fascist outrage.
But, hey, Dancing With The Stars is on.
Further this deponent sayth not.
Really? Which one? Just off the top of my head, I can think of about a half-dozen marine "restricted areas" in that part of the California coast. Of course, because no one has been able to assertain the specific location of the news helicopter, its altitude or the specific direction its camera was pointed, or what magnification lens he was using, it's IMPOSSIBLE to tell where this "missile" allegedly came from, let alone if it came from a restricted area. But, that's the conspiracy meme - "It came from a restricted area" - so it's repeated by guys like you, even though you have no proof to offer.
But, let's assume argumentum it was a restricted area, these areas aren't that big, and they are surrounded by heavily utilized recreational areas and are all well within the visual horizon of literally thousands of recreational boaters.
Furthermore, none of those restricted areas impede the flow of marine traffic using the coastal traffic lanes - IOW, those commercial ships have a bird's eye view of EVERYTHING that goes on in any of the restricted areas. Those areas aren't restricted because the Navy is using them for classified exercises. They're restricted because they're potential impact areas. They want to keep boaters out so that nothing falls on their heads, not so they can't see what's going on.
I can tell that you're not a sailor or seaman of any kind. If you were, you would know what a facially absurd statement you've made. The visual horizon of someone on the bridge of a cargo ship would easily be 20 miles or more. That is more than enough to see into and well-past any of the restricted areas located off Point Dume.
"Do you think there were a lot of eye witnesses there?"
As I explained, yes. Thousands of potential witness, many of whom are trained marine observers actively looking for problems on the horizon. We call them merchant marines.
There's a fine line between healthy skepticism and fanaticism. You seemed intent on just not letting go of the "chinese missile" story... cause, it's such a good story.
When I first saw the video, I admit.. I thought it looked like a missile. So, I became interested. After speaking with a long-time Freepers who WAS an eye-witness, and reading as much as I could find on the subject..... the fact became pretty clear. It was NOT a missile... it was, a contrail.
Once again.. look at the video. What's "supposed" to be the "bottom" of the "missile" trail is BATHED IN SUNLIGHT! Well after the sun has set in Cal. If it were a missile.. the BOTTOM of the trail would be in shadow, the TOP in sunlight. The lighting is wrong.
Add that to all the other evidence.. or lack thereof... it's pretty obvious what the answer is..
Until I see some REAL evidence to the contrary..it was a contrail.
But.. thanks for calling me a 'shill'... That made my day. First time ever... in almost 13 years! BAHAHAHA!!!
You don't have to ask, I'll tell you anyway! :-)
I didn't say MY good work... I was talking about Glenn Beck's good work. And yes, I think he's done a lot of good things in the past year... Things like:
Outing the Communist Van Jones,
Exposing Mao-loving Anita Dunn,
Warning people about the debasement of our currency
encouraging people to buy gold and silver
Exposing the tentacles of George Soros' network of organizations
Encouraging people to have a spititual and family renewal
These are all good things. I fight the good fight, and defend Beck often among bunches of libtards. If he keeps on pushing the "chinese missile" theory, it's going to make him look like the tin-foil whack job they all claim he is.
