Is the TSA allowing convicted rapists to perform pat-down searches?
AirSafe.com ^ | 11-3-10 | Staff

Last Thursday, without much fanfare, TSA announced that it would start a new screening procedure that would include more pat-down searches nationwide. USA Today reports that in the new procedures, screeners' hands would slide over a passenger's body, requiring screeners to touch passengers' breasts and genitals. In addition to questions over whether this change is necessary or effective, another question that many passengers may have in the backs of their minds is whether the TSA screeners have a criminal background that should preclude them from such sensitive duties

This may explain where TSA is getting half of their cheap labor force; from state and federal prison ‘work release’ programs. It’s a good deal for the Feds ‘cause the HLS budget can be skimmed to develop other absurd violations of liberty. It’s a good deal for the x-cons. And, as usual, it’s just a raw deal for the tax payers who fund all of this. De-fund EVERYTHING and start over and add a few Amendments to keep this from ever occurring again.

sarc/ What we need is a scanner outside the voting booth of each county of the restored republic that can detect liberal voters, displaying them as bright red, and which directs them to the fairytale ballot booth where only unicorns and pixies can be chosen. The Media will only be allowed to report on whether uni or pixy won the popular vote. The ‘reality show election’ will be a big hit and draw record advertising revenue. The rest of us here in actual reality can tend to our affairs with small government and let the liberal establishment live in their fantasy world. Headlines: Pixy won! We are all socialists now! They can proclaim in ignorant bliss while the adults run the free market economy. /sarc (but barely)

Someone was bound to ask this question.

The hidden details are probably no prettier than the surface.

The terrorists’ arms race goes on. Not much point in shooting a suicide bomber if you learn that he is a suicide bomber only when he goes kaboom in the air.

Yet, somehow El-Al has managed to keep it all from happening — hijackings, on board murders, suicide bombers — in an environment much more hostile than America’s. Some aver the existing scanners would never have seen the underwear bomber’s bomb.

What would keep a TSA worker from saving our image, while his co-worker jots down our name and address?

What if that image was of a young girl?

Nothing would prevent them from collecting images, names and addresses and sharing them with other perverts.

They’ve kept it from happening in a much more hostile environment than ours by looking for TERRORISTS, instead of looking for “weapons.”

They don’t care if you have nail clippers if you can look them right in the eye and tell them who you are, where you’re from, and where you’re going.

This is getting worse and worse.
