I volunteer in a reenactment group and started with December’s newsletter looking like this: “Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukauh, Happy Yule, and Happy New Year.” Finally, decided Happy Holidays might cover it.
Hehe, that’s how I see it too.
There are still (probably) a lot of businesses that are truly anti-Christmas, but the simple ‘Happy Holidays’ sale at Thanksgiving time doesn’t seem like a good way to measure it.
