I am a big Boehner fan, but it is regrettable that he didn’t have his emotions in check on Election night. For God’s sake he was introducing himself to the American people — millions forming their first impression - and he had at best a marginal performance.

With 10% unemployment people want adult leadership. The water works from Boehner was regrettable.

Given the apparent amount of facial work Pelosi's gotten it's not clear she can even cry in the usual way anymore - so apparently she does it by playing the gender card.

That said, if Boehner really does burst into tears in public all the time, he needs to save that stuff for his private life. The GOP has a lot of work to do to repeal ObamaCare and begin dragging us back from the financial cliff we're about to jump off of. It doesn't need the distraction of a guy with a reputation for being a crybaby in a position of leadership.
