Parkland Memorial Hospital delivers more of those babies than any other hospital in the state. Last year at Parkland, 11,071 babies were born to women who were illegal aliens

That's almost 1000 every 30 days folks..At just one hospital.

Where they going to work?

The strategy is easy.

Illegals make legal babies, which qualifies the baby for every social entitlement and the family can live off of the Government...then they vote Democratic (the 20% that vote do).

It gets Liberal, pro-union politicians elected.

It may be too late, California has 51% Latino children in its public schools, and thousands more come each year.

Anglos will soon be replaced. It is a demographic inevitability in CA.

Any lawyers here? What’s the case law on birthright citizenship? If TX were to say we don’t recognize these people as citizens the Feds would certainly come after TX. Could this force clarification of 14A?

...in Texas, where not only 1.5 million illegal immigrants are estimated to reside but at least 60,000 babies are added to their households annually.

Canadian and Japanese transplants?

While some actions require constitutional amendments or are subject to liberal court decisions, there are some steps Congress is able to take:

Congress can prevent these anchor childs ever sponsoring anybody (e.g. sponsoring their parents or siblings). Being able to sponsor foreigners to US is not a constitutional right.

I think this is something that GOP should push in 2012. This would also make illegal immigration less desirable, as the path to citizenship would be impossible via anchor child.

I simply do not envision 38 state legislatures voting to alter the 14th Amendment.

Without those 38 states, this issue is going nowhere.

How many anchor babies are born to illegals in California each year, I wonder?

Think I’ll look that up.

According to modern day interpretation of the 14th Amendment, all of these children are “Natural Born Citizens.”

Busses run from the border specifically to bring illegals to give birth at Parkland. It is well know and we pay for their births.

"These children, who didn't break any laws, would have no rights and nowhere to go," he said. "It's a very extreme position."

They can go HOME with their parents. I'm sick of hearing about how these children didn't do anything wrong. Well, American children didn't do anything wrong, but, they'll be paying for the children of these anchor babies. Those of us who have fought against illegal immigration don't deserve to have those children on our backs. Send them home.

Why do Latinos think they should come here in larger numbers than any other group? Why do they think they should get to break into our country and use, for free, what we and our forefathers built? Why do they think it's ok to have children and expect us to pay for them? Why do they insult us by waving their flags in our face, while demanding our children remove the U.S. flag? Because the judicial, executive and legislative branches of our government have told them they may. On the issue of illegal immigration, we have no representation. This crap better change in January. It's been going on too damn long.

I think that a lot of people don’t fully comprehend how easy and how porous this border actually is—given the right initiative, it’s pretty easy for somebody to come into our country undetected.”
