I don't understand how that follows from your post. I was thinking it was because lobbyists got to both parties.

Well, I'm glad to hear that, son!

It has been a long time since someone called me "son" (except my 85 year old father). I turn 63 next month.

I was trying say that the reason it came out of committee was the revised wording required a "judge" to make the determination for shutting down a website for the specific purpose of copyright. I know that "copyright infringement" is a vague term, and I know that there are some "terrible" judges who are shills to this bunch of Commies. But in my opinion, the appearance of some check & balance is why it came out of committee. Right or wrong.

And on the subject of (RINO) Senator Cornyn, he is 4 years from facing an election but he will be toast then.
