Actually, we still work on all of them in various ways. Two have families of their own. We don't interfere with their family life, but Ol' Grandpa still gets a word in when he thinks it's necessary. Ha!
We now work on yet another generation. We have one granddaughter born with NKH. She's 3 years-old now and can't do much but love on us when we hold her. Every drop of slobber is love potion.
But this is infiltrating in all corners of society-not just the military. If you say anything at work you stand a very good chance of being fired or sued. We live in a country where we no longer have free speech regardless of how we keep quoting the Constitution.
Personally, I cannot see how my son could defend a nation where you are not allowed to fire the first shot or shoot back at those who are shooting at you. Worst, our corrupt society now will prosecute our servicemen who dare to punch a terrorist. We use to call these kinds of people “sitting ducks”.
We have gone beyond the tipping point of etiquette. If we do not stand up and start speaking out, the free nation we knew will be a distance memory and the Constitution another scrap of paper.

the father of lies has been building this disconnect from the Truth for generations now, institutionally i dont think we have much of a chance now, short of a God Given great awakening/revival...as it stands, we are pretty much locked into waiting for the 'time' to come, to roll over or fight...

How many trained ex-military do you imagine are out in the private sector? We have recently trained (last fifteen to twenty years) retired military who are Christians, who will not bow to the father of lies or his democrat progressive sycophants.

As a reservist, I was tagged to take it as well. The survey was not about how I felt about repealing DADT, but how to implement it just as the editorial stated. It was a very distasteful thing to not be able to clearly articulate my strong objections to allowing open homosexuals. Like the previous poster said, there was one little comments box. I am sure any negative comments were ignored.
As the editorial stated, I am deeply concerned that the repeal of DADT, with subsequent implementations, will force anyone with moral objections out of military service.
Which is more likely to be a well disciplined and well behaved soldier....(1) Someone with high morals (2) Someone with no morals? The person with high morals is more likely to be a well disciplined and behaved soldier that will help build a cohesive military with respect for authority. Take them away and you risk constructing a military that is nothing more than an armed rabble. Remove those with morals from the military and you will have increased cases of abuse of authority, rapes, sexual harrassment, and just plain misconduct. A person without morals is more likely to commit war crimes, etc.
So, are we going to throw out a moral majority for an immoral extremely small minority? Insanity.
