Doh forgot to ping you Phil. Sorry man.

Anyhow, I have no say so because I live in Orland Park. But this Mayor race does effect all of us living in the area because we go to Bears, Sox, Cubs, Bulls, and Blackhawk games. $8.00 a beer???, Bottle Water Tax?, Cigarettes are approaching $10.00 a pack, gas is outrageously high.

I have Season Tickets to the Bears and White Sox and it is insane the amount of money the food costs, and the food sucks! So for Sox games I bring my own bottle water in, at the Bears game I just wait to eat and drink till I get home.

My father owns a factory in Bridgeport that makes dog treats (all natural which means no poison crap from china) and if I told you what his taxes were you would hit the roof.

My dad's other business (pork rinds and snack foods) he had to move to Alsip because they kept harassing him about pollution by smell (saying because it smelled like pork by a pork plant that was pollution).

Chicago is turning into Detroit. If Danny Davis wins Chicago will make Detroit look like the garden of Eden. Either way we'll all be screwed, I've never met a rat who was opposed to taxes.

Fred White states that he wants to freeze property tax rates. He hopes that would cause more businesses to open in Chicago, causing more companies to sell products. After the revenue increases, he would want to cut or eliminate some tax rates, including the alcohol tax, restaurant tax, gas tax, and/or amusement tax.

Chicago is no way “turning into Detroit”. I lived in the latter and Chicago is a fricking paradise compared to that hole.
