Expert: TSA scans would let al-Qaida duplicate 9/11

A terrorism expert says the invasive screening procedures demanded by the Obama-run Transportation Security Administration would do almost nothing to stop a determined terrorist because they already are experimenting with inserting explosives in a body cavity or even surgically implanting the destructive charges.

The comments come from Brigitte Gabriel, who is the founder of Act! For America, a 150,000-strong group that works to warn Americans against the dangers of militant Islam and the Muslims who follow it.

She also is a member of the board of advisers for the Intelligence Summit, and she lectures internationally on global terrorism.

The issue has hit a flashpoint in the last few days as newly installed TSA procedures demand that airline passengers submit to a full-body scanning machine that generates an essentially nude image of the passenger for TSA workers to see, or a full-body pat-down that includes what critics have called "groping" of private parts of the body.

"These procedures are not effective at all with terrorists," Gabriel told WND in an interview today. "If a true terrorist wants to go blow up an airplane, these machines will not detect it."

How about the 100s of millions of so called "moderate" Muslims, CAIR and the mainstream media, who refuse to attack the extremists in their midst, and instead attack Americans for "offending" Muslims?

surgically implanting the destructive charges

I've seen "The Dark Knight". A terrorist could get on a plane with a bellyfull of high explosives, and all it takes is a phonecall to the right number to make it go Boom.

I support metal detectors and I support profiling. More than that I think is not really getting us anywhere (other than training us to act like sheep).

Not only are TSA methods ineffective at detecting threats from airline passengers, the long lines of passengers waiting at TSA screening points could also be terrorist targets. There could easily be a repeat of the 1972 Lod airport attack in Israel were passengers in a waiting area were gunned down by Japanese terrorists. Israel has since implemented profiling for persons entering the airport and has thwarted any subsequent attacks.

The goal is not to stop terrorists, the goal is to enslave Americans. This is called conditioning, and right now we are frogs in a pot of lukewarm water.

Terrorists on 9/11 didn’t use explosives they used box cutters. Their ability to take control of the aircraft has been eliminated by the new security doors. The scale of possible attack has already been reduced, they will likely pick a different method next time.

Maybe we should just contract with Israeli security forces to run our checkpoints. I’m sure it would be far cheaper than these new scanners.

Yup. The global banksters want to create a fascistic global government to police their slaves and spread a fascistic global religion (islam) to cow them during whatever hours remain in the day that their not toiling in the fields or factories.

Please read the article again. This expert isn't saying that another 9/11 would be repeated EXACTLY as the first one was.

She's saying that the terrorists ALREADY HAVE picked a different method. In this case surgical implant explosives. Box cutters won't mean anything and neither will sealed security doors, or porno scans or pat downs for that matter.

She's warning that our current security won't cut it with these new methods being adopted. We've GOT TO PROFILE! That's what she said. And she's 100% right too.

“She said like drug dealers already have proven, substances hidden inside body cavities or even embedded surgically remain undetected by any or all of the TSA’s procedures.”

Surgical implantation could be a real problem. This is why the current TSA procedures are not only invasive, wasteful and time consuming, they are counter-productive. The TSA is diverting important and expensive resources that could be better utilized by developing rational profiling techniques, and using technology more efficiently. The TSA is losing support by alienating the public through these needless procedures.

We should start thinking about the possible surgical techniques that could be employed and create public awareness. One technique that could be difficult to detect would be placement of explosive device into a lumbar disc. This can be done in a 15 minute procedure through a canulla (a small metal tube) and it is very difficult to detect because a very small incision is used. Unlike swallowing a bag with an explosive substance, it would be nearly impossible to detect on x-ray (as long as the substance is not radio-opaque). In addition, the location is stable enough (there is no blood supply inside a disc) to possibly allow placement of a detonation device alongside the explosive.

This may sound far fetched, but so was the idea that someone would fly an airplane into the WTC.

My point was that they would not be able to take control of the aircraft and use it like a missile. Blowing it up, while a common terrorist tactic and something to guard against, does not have the level of psychological impact of flying it into large groups of people (stadium comes to mind).

Profiling is for sure the right approach and has been used by Israel for many years now.

My guess is they’ll target a subway, cruise ship, stadium or similar. That’s not to say planes are off the list. What happens when they focus on something other than planes? Are we going to do the same at all the venues I just mentioned? Their current approach is not practical and we’ll have a lifestyle similar to the former Soviet Union if they try.
