Every time I hear someone say “Palin can’t win!” (including many who are supposedly on OUR side) it makes me more and more resolved to see her win.

Your resolution means next to nothing. Don't ever forget that. You have very little power to see that Palin wins. If you really believe this, you are truly delusional. If the public perception of her is negative, she will lose and there isn't a damn thing you can do about that. We need a candidate who can WIN. I'm not counting her out but if it doesn't appear she has broad support, I hope and pray she will not run. I'd much rather have a Chris Christie than her. I don't know if he wants to run but I think he can stand up to the media better than her. The public likes a tough guy. Just because you may love the woman, it doesn't mean jack. You have but one vote or maybe you can influence just a few people. Do you have a television station or a cable network? Think about it.

As a "truthguy" you are seriously misinformed.

The whole political system is BASED on individuals making a difference. Each individual decides to take action, joins with others of like minds, and changes the political landscape of the entire country. If you don't believe this then you haven't been paying attention to the rapid rise and tremendous effect of all those independent, leaderless Tea Party individuals (like me, like a lot of FReepers and others around the country.)

Your consistent anti-Sarah trolling is getting very boring and transparent. And now you're attacking others trying to get them to be discouraged and not even try.

Knock it off.

If the media's portrayal of republicans was the most important factor in determining who wins elections then republicans would never win anything. The simple fact of the matter is that two things wins elections. Money and the hard work of dedicated individuals.
There is always a naysayer who waxes enthusiastically about how others will never achieve their dreams...and then there are those that achieve their goals regardless of people trying to drag them down.

“If the public perception of her is negative, she will lose”

I nominate this for asinine post of the week.

You do realize that perceptions change? It’s a little early to make such broad based prognostications.
