Well, Hank. I gave it my best shot. The only other thing I can suggest is that you read her book, “Going Rogue”, if you haven’t already (and it doesn’t sound like you have).
There are some Americans on the right who are bound and determined to diminish Sarah Palin’s accomplishments and character, and highlight and magnify what they perceive to be her shortcomings and failures. I don’t claim to understand those people’s motivation for applying those harsh standards to Palin. I simply note that they do.
Some of her detractors are openly supporting other potential candidates for 2012, which explains their negative views, but many haven’t expressed any preference for a candidate. That says to me, that they’ve succumbed to the MSM’s vile character assassination, or that they simply have some sort of personal dislike of the lady.
Dunno, but I imagine that more and more of this is going to come out of the woodwork, until such time as the enthusiasm of her campaign drowns it all out.
I don’t know about others. I’m supporting DeMint or Christie, both of whom can articulate their positions much more eloquently.
