Calm down - I have been posting on this site since the Clinton impeachment in 1998. I left after the 2008 election decided to come back yesterday signed up under a new name. What exactly did I say that was liberal? I said that I will absolutely under no circumstances support Romney, Huckabee, Pawlenty, Gingrich, etc as the nominee because I don’t think they will advance the cause of conservatism even if they are more “electable” than others. However, I think nominating Palin will also be a bad idea - I love what she brings to the cause but I just think her style is not suited for a presidential run and like it or not the reality is that you have to pick off independent voters and her negatives are through the roof with them.
Its just the reality of the situation and I’m sure that her people are making the same calculations right now. If she runs and it is just against the usual suspects with no other strong conservative in the field I will support her. If she wins the nomination I will 100% support her. But my hope is that I will be able to look at the field and find a better candidate than Palin. Whether that person even exists and decides to run is an open question.
Really this attitude around here about Palin is one of the reasons that I left before. I support Palin, I agree with her pretty much 100% on the issues, and I love the fact that she will say the things that other mainstream politicians are totally scared to. But I dare to say I might decide to support another conservative for the nomination and someone brands me a “liberal troll”. Those kind of kneejerk reactions have to stop.
When the primaries start are we really going to call people on here supporting Mike Pence or other strong conservatives “liberal trolls”? Give me a break. Palin did not invent conservatism and she is not the only conservative in America right now. There will be a choice in the primaries and just like I am not going to let the media tell me that it has to be someone like Romney I am also not going to let people like you bully me into supporting Palin if there are other good conservative choices. And don’t ever call me a liberal troll again.
Sorry, my mistake - s/b a Mittons troll. :-)

Bullshit!
Gallup’s poll asked whether people agreed with Obama or Palin, and 52% said Palin. Do you think 52% of the country is Republican?
Who do you think the audience of Dancing With the Stars is composed of? And why do the cheer madly when she takes her seat?
Who do you think TLC’s audience is? And why did a record number of them tune for Palin’s show?
You’re a troll, and not a very good one at that.
