Sarah Palin Says She Could Beat Obama
ABC News ^ | Nov. 17, 2010 | MARY BRUCE

Sarah Palin says she is seriously considering a run for the White House, and she believes she could beat President Obama in 2012, the former Alaska governor told ABC News' Barbara Walters. "I'm looking at the lay of the land now, and ... trying to figure that out, if it's a good thing for the country, for the discourse, for my family, if it's a good thing," Palin said in an interview scheduled to air in full Dec. 9 on ABC as part of Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People" of 2010.

But she NEVER talks about this...this has not been her Mantra.

With her dynamic, attractive and stunning presentation on TV I never would have guessed all this about her. And THAT is why so many people do NOT take her SERIOUSLY.

Her personna is dramatic, and attractive, but has not been “serious”.

Don’t discount Palin.

"Ineluctable" means inevitable.

I would give two to one odds now that Obama will NOT be given a second term, regardless of what happens or who runs. If there is anyone with any brains left in the Democrat party he will not be given a chance to run again plus there will be numerous states insisting that he prove he is a natural born citizen which he cannot possibly do, his only hope would be a supreme court decision not based in constitutional law. I think he is a one termer...IF he manages to finish one term.

"I said in 2008 Palin could have made Michigan interesting if only McCain let her campaign here like she wanted. He threw in the towel."

You are correct, I remember that. Sarah wanted to win; McCain... who knows what he truly wanted. Sarah is the strongest fighter on the political scene today. Any one who reads her book with an open mind can see she is a true conservative and would be a fierce fighter for Liberty

It is in Sarah's DNA to be true to the principles of limited, Constitutional government. Many other potential candidates don't seem to understand the need to reduce the size of government. They only give lip service to limited government.

Sarah will win in a landslide ( > 370 EV)

Well I figured they wouldn't vote for Pelosi to be Minority Leader either...and they did that.

Who knows...?

Yes they could have.

IMHO my gut tells me she is going to make Michigan Ground Zero for her run. Remember it was the "Macomb County Democrats" that gave Reagan his victory. I think she wants to reach out to those common sense Dems, even though the party has left them.

If she gets Michigan, she gets Ohio and Indiana by extension and maybe even PA. If so game over for Oboingo.

Read my Tagline...

Palin with Ford's CEO Alan Mulally would be such an out of the box pick, we could solve our energy crisis of we could harness liberals heads spinning at 3600 rpm after it was announced... :-)...

Well then, I hope she runs, let the debates begin and you will see ‘serious’ if you haven’t already realized that side of her personality.

No, I didn’t post to you, nor did I mention your name. Proofs in the puddin’ toots.

I did however post to ari-freedom and the post he made.

I didn’t see that you had posted it. Why? because above the picture he had the words that his picture was responding to.

So, don’t make up things. I was under no obligation to ping you. Not to mention that you and your buddies do exactly what you are so offended by to others on a regular basis.

So don’t call me dishonest. Take a hard look at your self righteous self.

I pinged ari-freedom to this post because I actually mentioned his name. He is under no obligation to respond.

Oh, and another thing. You must have just forgotten to ping ari-freedom since you mentioned his name in the post I am responding to. Right?

LOL, I am not here to answer your questions, especially when they are irrelevant, and when it would take me great amounts of time and thought to answer about various candidates and possibilities for 2012.

If you want to try to knock off our leading conservative in the name of that moderate guy with no following that has already called for conservatives to surrender the fundamental part of our agenda, then you can expect some responses on a Palin/Obama thread, as you bash her.

You lied, you had mentioned the kids, and you were mocking my post while doing it.

It is interesting to bring out more of your personality, no wonder you see her kids as fair game.

Reagan may have been despised by the Rockefeller wing of the Republican Party (the original RINOs, I guess), but let’s not forget the fact that he made a heck of a run for the nomination in 1976 and quickly brushed past George H.W. Bush early in the primary season in 1980 and became the front-runner. It was quickly apparently that there were a whole lot of us Republicans who bought into his conservative, pro-America, limited government message and were rejecting the more RINO (for the time) Bush. The Tea Party taps into the same vein that Reagan tapped into and is a reaction from people like us who believe that the Republican Party strayed from those roots over the past 20 years.

Palin taps into it in a way that the retreads like Huckabee and Romney don’t. The fact that some of us have doubts about her ability to be elected in today’s environment doesn’t mean we are rejecting the message she is espousing!

. It’d be 24/7 showing of her ridiculously edited interview with Katie Couric

I’m sure that out of six hours of tape, someone could put together a short outtake that makes Katie Couric look like an idiot.

Bristol Palin’s half of the ad is to push abstinence, I am puzzled why you are so hostile to her pro-life/pro-abstinence message, and efforts. I am puzzled as to why you are so hostile to her at all, much less to this degree of pursuit and attack.

The TpCaucus is still growing strongly..
Look what they already have done..

Pelosi/Reid are re-elected... so that should continue..
Not ONLY, can Palin win but many more members of Congress also..
AND many more members of State Congresses as well..
Including more Governors..

Who knows what redistricting can accomplish.. probably much..
If the new House of Reps.. plays its cards right.. the dems are in trouble..

The BIG enemy of republicans are the RINOs..
Boner had better take a dose of political Viagra..
Moosecowski could become the New Hat check girl in the Senate cloak room..

Point out where I mentioned the kids? You can’t find it, can you? I mocked your post because it was absurd. Apparently someone else saw it that way too.

You best buck up and grow some thicker skin. You have about 2 years to go yet and you are going to be a basket case. I know it is hard to try and police everyone and control their speech.

Get some rest and have a good evening.

RE :”Let her run and fall flat on her face then if she’s “unelectable.” My God people, what are you afraid of? If she’s truly that bad then why are her critics still attacking her? Wouldn’t it make more sense to encourage her on and then laugh when she fails?

Could you clarify this comment? Who do you assume wants her to run and lose? And who do you assume is genuinely scared she will lose if she ran, and doesnt want to see her lose? Did you mean lose the nomination, or against Obama?

Who is stopping her except her now?

They had to call up an entire platoon to deal with me. It’s a good thing I don’t have a blog!
I’m still going to post my opinions, no matter how controversial they may be to some.

I don’t think the economy is going to improve, but crazier things can intervene that betters ZERO’s chances, against anyone the GOP puts up.
