I think Sarah undermined her credibility by bailing on the governorship. And I think that is what is reflected in the big polls. She should get elected to another office before trying to run for president.

I know Andrew Jackson resigned from the Senate halfway through his term in 1825 and by 1828 he was president.

You know, many politicians resign from their current elected position to run for a higher office, and no one calls them a 'quitter' They understand it.

She was facing legal bills of $500,000 (and never ending) and her political enemies were using her position of elected office holder to destroy her and her family.

They recognized they had to destroy her, to kill all political aspirations while in their infancy.

It's one of the reasons I admire her so. She has faced the most unbelievable and dirty smears and lies, the attempts to destroy her have been really amazing. Yet she has taken it all on with a smile and is still standing. She is far more powerful and has far more clout now than she did as Governor.

This is a political tsunami, and you underestimate her at your peril...
