I don’t watch this show and I’m not sure why this bothers me as much as it does. I disapprove of Palin supporters voting for her daughter simply for political reasons.

I remember the chapter about the left’s fanatical orthodoxy and intent to politicize every single aspect of human life in Bork’s Slouching Towards Gomorrah.

Anyone doing this, please read this wise man’s words if you get a moment and rethink postion please. I mean no disrespect. The libtards drive me crazy too.

While i understand what you’re saying, television is vapid. DWTS is a vapid popularity contest. Lots of VERY good dancers have been voted off because they didn’t have a fan base. So what.

With respect, I think you fall into the trap that the Republicans have been falling into for 40 years.

The Left owns the schools. The Left owns the media. The Left politicizes everything. Carrie Prejean lost out as Miss America because her views on homosexual marriage mirrored the overwhelming view of the American people -- and also mirrored the view of Barack Oabama. Well, a homosexual judge took offense and had her thrown out.

Within that heavily political environment, if Republicans continue to turn up our nose and say "We're too good to play that kind of game", then we will lose 100% of the time.

I see voting for Bristol as a way to send a message -- America doesn't hate the Palins, America doesn't fear the Palins. The media needs to get the message that attacking the Palins and treating them like dirt is just not a smart move.

This is a way to level the playing field. I won't cower and I won't lose the game by insisting on playing by rules that the other team is free to ignore.

Which is worse? Voting multiple times for a contestant on DWTS or voting multiple times in an actual election?

Breaking News: 2/3 of the people b*tching about multiple votes being cast for Bristol Palin on DWTS voted 2 or more times in the last presidential election.

Everyone has reasons and biases for voting for someone. Let's face it, Bristol would not be on the show, if Sarah Palin wasn't her Mother. Yep, I'm for “Bristol the Pistol” 1000% and it's mostly because of Sarah. Dancing With Stars is a voting contest, not a dancing contest. The show set it up that way. The anti-Bristol people should have their beef with the show, not Bristol.

How about when people said they were going to vote for Obama, simply because it was time for a “black” to be President?
