In reality, Bristol has come farther than anyone on the show. Several of the other dancers were better (including Brandy), but they were at the top level to begin with. Pairing Jennifer with Derek (who is the best pro dancer/choreographer on the show IMO) and Brandy with Max couldn't have been pure luck. Bristol has come much farther than anyone else, and they all know it. As a recreational ballroom dancer (w/Mrs OrioleFan) I was really expecting to see Kyle get bounced - he still doesn't get the rise and fall, and often looks like he exaggerates it which doesn't look natural, plus he dances flat-footed a lot. I expect the Disney crowd is keeping him in plus the judges cut him a lot of slack for his energy. Whatever. All this goes back to the first season when the judges got it wrong because they were launching that girl's debut on Desperate Housewives. Then, to make it worse, they brought back the other couple for a dance-off and awarded them first place that night. A lot of people in the local ballroom community stopped watching the show for several years after that first season result. They should have expected the viewer voting at some point would give them a surprise or two, or three... I used my 5 votes for Bristol because it's not as easy as it looks. We've been taking lessons for 18 years now, and we still don't dance some of the dances they do on DWTS (e.g. passo doble, samba). For example, we've been taking West Coast Swing lesson sets (4 group lessons) 3 times now, and it finally clicked. It's something you really have to commit to and practice, practice, practice. Then when you get out on the dance floor in a crowd with people at all levels, you go into shock. I applaud Bristol, as she has shown the most improvement week to week.

I think a lot of Bristol’s problems early were cause by her partner. He put her in some bad situations. She had to over come him also.

Max has never won DWTS. Bristol’s partner has won at least twice. If we are just talking wins, Bristol got the better dancer. Not sure what you are trying to say.

I'd like to think that what you say is true and from the heart. If so, maybe I'm becoming convinced that Bristol deserved to win.

But something, in fact many things bother me.

If the producers ulterior motive is to make Sara look bad in the eyes of Americans, things a beginning to make sense. Why for example, knowing that Brandy was going to lose, did they pair her up with Bristol? Why not pair her up with Kyle at the end? Instead there is a profound hatred for Bristol, as if she was the spoiler... If you go by the most improved, Bristol and Kyle are on top...If you go by best dancers...to begin with....Jennifer. Personally, I'd like to see Kyle win....then the angst will be at him... If Bristol wins, no one will ever give her, her due...
