“Bristol Palin, whose mother Sarah Palin was in the audience for moral support, and Mark Ballas thrilled the judges with their paso doble, which earned a score of 27. Carrie Ann called Bristol over to the judges’ table for a hug, telling her, “I’m so happy to see you finally come out of your shell and nail it.” Len commented, “You’ve been in the bottom two six times and yet [bounced back] with determination, it shows so much about your character.” Bruno crowed, “I’ll be damned, I never thought I was going to see this. The little lamb is turning into a tigress.”

Her Paso Doble was entertaining, but her waltz was absolutely beautiful and the song was haunting. Visually and musically it was probably the most moving performance I have seen on the show.
