Great show today! Yes, the government schools are trying to turn out bricks all right. They ceerainly don’t teach kids to cherich individuality or how to think for themselves anymore I thought the similarity between the picture of the Tower of Babel and London’s Parliament building was interesting. I wonder how long ago the PB was built.

When I was a kid we were told to be ourselves and don’t try to conform. Now days kids are expected to conform to the left.

Same here. In fact, we were told to try to be ourselves in every different way possible. Read books you haven’t read before, try a new sport, etc... Today, it seems like we are being forced into a “mold”. Don’t look different, dress differently, listen to different music, read different books. IMHO it goes against human nature and how the Lord made us (each differently with unique gifts and talents). Just a thought.
I think it started in ernest when they started pushing us into sex ed.
I remember thinking how odd it was when the instructor went right to telling us that homosexual thoughts were normal and all “normal” boys have them.
When I was a child, elementary school teachers didn’t tell us how to be, (However the principal kept a wooden paddle in his office).They taught the 3 Rs. Of course it was during the second world war, so we did support our troops by knitting afghans to kep them warm, collecting metal, paper, etc. And bought savings stamps for the war effort. The country was all together each fighting in hi/her own way for Victory, for the most part. Our individual talents were celebrated. Most mothers stayed home and raised the children and proudly provided good meals and a clean home for their families. Those were the days!
